 FIFA WORLD CUP FIXTURES 2014

On 14 January 2014, the FIFA Referees Committee appointed 25 referees and supporting Referees representing 43 differentIt is likely that the 42 years old British Referee Howard Webb is likely to supervise the opening match of 2014 World Cup at Sao Paulo, Webb will be assisted by Darren Cann and Mike Mullarkey.

Incidentally Howard Webb supervised the 2010 World Cup final at Johannesburg between Spain and Holland. Countries. All the selected referee's will get a fixed payment for whole World Cup, In 2006 in Germany every referee got a lump sump payment of Dollar 23,000 while it is expected that in 2014 the payment will be increased to Dollar 50,000 to be part of Referee's team in World Cup.
