PREVIEW : Jaydip Dasgupta and Laltu Chakrabarty : The tension are mounting high world over as the two giants Argentina and Holland are preparing to meet in the 2nd semi final of the 2014 World Cup at Arena de Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo. The semi final would be a match of strategies as the Argentines are depending on the individual brilliance and skills of Leo Messi. On the contrary the Dutchmen rely on their team effort, which they have showcased time and again in in the tournament, although they are lacking in converting the opportunities which may result negatively in their performances.
Alejandro Sabella, the Argentine coach are optimistic to play the final on Sunday evening. While interacting with the media Sabella said, "Our intention was to go as far as possible, and to try to get in among the best four teams. Having reached this stage, we will never settle for losing now, but for me this group of players have already won, We have already crossed the threshold, but now we will try to go a bit further and take another small step forward,"
Holland are to play their second consecutive World Cup semi finals. The inclusion of Van Persie in the final eleven are still doughtful as the Dutch striker are suffering from stomach problems. The Dutch Coach Van Gaal should have to plan other options in absense of the star striker.
Moreover Holland will be without their injured midfielder Nigel de Jong and he is likely to be replaced by Jonathan de Guzman. But it can be presumed that the Argentines will have to control the sheer speed of the cunning Dutchman Argen Robin who is capable of creating danger at any point of time.
