The curtain of the 20th World Cup Football will open on the 12th of June at Sao Paulo's New Corinthians Stadium in front of 68000 odd spectators and cores of television viewers world wide. While all 32 nations are busy in preparing for the group stage, behind closed door practice grounds, the rehearsals for the 2014 World Cup's opening ceremony are ongoing what promising to be a spectacular show worthy of starting the tournament.

The officials of FIFA stated that the opening ceremony will last for 25 minutes, which will feature 600 artists, including acrobatic gymnasts, trampolinists, martial arts-style performers and stilt walkers.

Jennifer Lopez said in an interview with The Associated Press that she is flying to Brazil on Tuesday night to perform during the tournament's opening ceremony on Thursday. She will perform alongside Pitbull and Claudia Leitte for the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony in Brazil on Thursday. The trio will be performing "We Are One (Ole Ola)," the official song of the 2014 tournament. FIFA officials announced earlier this week that the singer wouldn't perform the official tune "We Are One (Ole Ola)" alongside Pitbull and Claudia Leitte. But Lopez said they will perform before Brazil takes on Croatia at Thursday's opening game in Sao Paulo.

The opening ceremony of the World's football festival will be performed in daylight, so there will be no fire works but famous martial dance Capoeira, which combines elements of dance, acrobatics and music) will be performed. Brazil's endless treasures will be represented by both performers and props throughout the show, with a "living" LED ball being the central focus. The entire programme will be directed by Daphne Cornez, a renowned artist from Belgium
