Bangaluru FC and Pune FC will going to meet in an important I-League match at the Kantiveerea Stadium on Saturday evening. This will be the second round, as both the teams are in search of their first win in the League. In the first round Bangaluru FC locked at goal less against Dempo Sports Club, while Pune FC ends the match 1-1 against Salgaokar Sports Club after being in the lead in the first session.

Bangaluru FC proved their dominance in the match against Dempo Sports Club had some opportunities to score. But it was quite unfortunate the Astley Westwood boys failed to convert some easiest opportunities. Bangaluru FC missed the services of marquee footballer Joshua Walker in the first game. In the pre match media meeting at Bangaluru, Astley Westwood said, "For me, it'll be hard to judge Pune based on what they have done in the past.

They have two new foreigners available for selection. Their past form is out the window. Any dominance they have had in any games is out the window. They'll be a different side and a different challenge tomorrow." Westwood added that the marquee footballer Joshua Walker are still nursing his hamstring injury and the chance of including him in the final eleven are impossible.

Pune FC finished the match with Salgaokar Sports Club in their first round after being in the lead in the first session. Pune FC had the control over the match but failed to capitalize the situation when they conceded the equalizer. Karim Bensharifa feels that his team is well prepared and is ready to give a strong challenge to any I League team. While speaking to the journalists before the match the Moroccan coach said, "I don't think it was a disappointing game.

I was very happy with the result. The performance of the boys has been good even in the games that we have lost. When we played Bengaluru in the Federation Cup, we had a major share of possession and we gave them a good fight."

Bengaluru FC last met Pune FC in the group league stages of the Federation Cup three weeks ago where a Sunil Chhetri brace gave the Blues a 2-1 result.
