East Bengal currently placed at the 6th position of the I League table are desperate to earn full points in order to strengthen their position in the League table.

Bharat FC are the second franchisee team after Bangaluru FC in the competition. After some initial setbacks Bharat FC are occupying the 8th position in the League table with 11 points from 10 matches.

In the last outing at Pune Derby Bharat FC shared points with Pune FC are in a mood to give a strong challenge to the Red and Gold .The Pune team will miss the service of their experienced central defender Mehrajuddin Wahdoo as he had been sent off in the earlier match following an illegal offense. But Andrew Watkings Brigade is proving to be one of the competitive football team in the last couple of matches.

East Bengal, who will play their 12th round match on Wednesday, not only have to showcase an improvise performance, but more importantly needs to earn full points in order to climb up the ladder. Though Ranti Martins are the leading goal scorer in the tournament with 12 goals in his kitty, but the current performance of Dudu Omegbemi are a serious concern for the Dutch coach Elco Stettorie.
