PREVIEW : EAST BENGAL ARE CONFIDENT TO CHALLENGE PUNE FC

Pune Fc and East Bengal will going to clash in one of the important match of the I league at the Balewadi Sports Complex, Pune on Saturday evening. East Bengal, who are currently placed at the fifth position in the League table looked much confident and optimistic after their win against Bharat FC on Wednesday. Pune FC, who are occupying the forth position in the I league table needs a win in order to keep themselves in the run for the tittle.

After the set back against Mohun Bagan and Royal Wahingdoh, East Bengal performed quite impressively in the last match against Bharat Fc and clinch the match in their favour by a margin of 3-0.

The combination of the team looks much superior as the two wing half Cavin Lobo and Lalrin Dika Raltey were busy in feeding the Nigerian goal machines Ranty Martins and Dudu Omegbemi. If East Bengal repeats their performance on Saturday evening then it will be a serious concern for Karim Bensharifa and his men. Though Dika is likely to be replaced by Abinash Ruidas as he is nursing an injury in his ankle.

Pune FC are still in the run for the tittle required to earn full points in order to consolidate their position further. The Red Lizards are being managed by Karim Bensharifa an experienced coach in Indian, has managed to set his team as a unit.

The team is well combined with some experienced campaigners as well as with some young talents. The foreign recruits, Luciano Sabrosa in the central defense and Ryuji Sueoka in the midfield are an asset for pune FC. It must be stated Pune FC are maintaining the record of unbeaten run at home won against Salgaokar in their last match.

The match will start at 7 pm
