TREVOR MORGAN TO START HIS NEW ERA IN EAST BENGAL

13.04.2016 : Trevor James Morgan starts his new journey in East Bengal. The British coach agrees to took the charge of East Bengal as Chief coach after Biswajit Bhattacharjee resigned. He will be reaching the city at the weekend. This was officially declared by East Bengal in a media meeting after an emergency Executive committee meeting at the club tent today.

Trevor was in charge of East Bengal from 2010-13 and proved himself successful during his tenure. After a long drama since longhe 59 years old British coach, Trevor James Morgan returning to Red and Gold. While interacting the Football secretary Mr Santosh Bhattacharjee said the contact is initially for the Federation Cup and the club is planning to depute him for the upcoming season after a discussion with the British coach.

Trevor James Morgan joined East Bengal in the year 2010. He is rated as one of the most successful coach in India in the recent time. During his tenure East Bengal were the champions in as many as eight tournament which includes Federation Cup in two occasions. But he is yet to taste the most prestigious tournament in the country, I League. East Bengal finished second thrice in a row in I League during his first spell of association with East Bengal which ends at 2013.
