FIFA announce ticket information and prices for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

On Friday afternoon FIFA released information regarding ticket information for the forthcoming FIFA World Cup in Brazil next year. Tickets are not to be sold on a "first come first served" policy, as applicants will have the opportunity to enter into random selection draws.

The ticket prices differ greatly for Brazilians and non-Brazilians, as Brazilians are able to purchase the Category 4 tickets. Brazilian Students and older fans will be able to get hold of tickets for as little as 15 Dollar for group games. In 2010 South Africa world it was 20 Dollar.

FIFA said prices for international fans start at Dollar 220 for the opening match in Sao Paulo on June 12. Top category seats will cost Dollar 495 for the opener. At the other 47 group-stage matches, seats costs Dollar 90 in the cheapest Category 3 band. Category 1 tickets will cost Dollar 175.

For the championship game on July 13 at Rio's Maracana, international fans must pay from Dollar 440 to Dollar 990, in three category bands. FIFA allows huge discount on ticket price but despite the discounts, the prices are out of reach for most people in Brazil, where the average official minimum monthly salary is about Dollar 340.

The cheapest tickets for overseas fans are Category 3 tickets, which cost a hefty pound 59. For the World Cup Final, tickets for non-Brazilians start at pound 290 with the most expensive tickets costing 990 Dollar.

More than one-million tickets for the first phase of the tournament will go on sale on August 20. If they were not all sold by October 10, they would be offered again from the first week of November, Thierry Weil, Fifa's marketing director, said.Some three-million tickets would be available in total, with 700 000 of them going on sale to international fans, Weil said

Mohammedan Sporting club starts their season practice today under their new nigerial Aziz at Salt Lake Central park.

More than 25 playes joined today in their first day practice with their news coach. Mohammedan SC president MP Sultan Ahmed, Football Secretary Kamaruddin and so many fans were present in the practice time.

The players enjoyed one and half hour practice of the first day. Tomorrow the team will practice at Kolkata Maidan race Course Maidan. Out of their four foreigners, only Australian striker Tolgey weas present today and the team is waiting for Luciano Sobrosa, Joshimar Da Silva- the two brazilians and Penn Orji who will expected to be reached within 25/26 July.

Red & Gold Lovers & Tigers On Field has decided to stand in presence of Hon General Secretary Mr. Kalyan Mazumder of East Bengal Club today evening at our Club Tent Time: 6 pm by two young talents called Biswajit Nandi and Surojit Bhattacharjee who have come up from the dark streets of Sonagachi to represent Indian National Team in 11th edition of the Homeless World Cup annual tournament, in Poznan,Poland.

East Bengal Tigers On Field Fan Club has only helped RGL in organising the event and collaborating it with East Bengal Club .... Kudos and All Credit goes to RGL and all their talented youngstars who hunted out these two Boys and have now taken up the great initiative to stand by them ... Congratulations RGL.

The Red and Gold Lovers, associated fan club of East Bengal today helped financially Biswajit Nandy and Surojit Bhattercherjee the two selected members who will represent India in the 11th edition of the Homeless World Cup Annual tournament, in Poznan, Poland. Biswajit and Surojit are born and brought up in the red light area of Kolkata,Sonagachi. Their mother are still in the profession of prostitution.

The members of Red and Gold met the footballers in the middle of May at their residence and promised to help these footballers financially. Finally, in the club tent at maidan today in presence of the East Bengal General Secretary Mr Kalyan Mazumdar the financial help was handed to the footballers before they leave for the tournament on the 22nd.

The East Bengal goalkeeper ABHIJIT MONDAL has come forward with his financial contribution to Biswajit and Surojit. The kind attitude Of Abhijit Mondal are really to be appreciated.The members of the East Bengal Tigers On Field handed memento to Biswajit and Surojit.

The Red and Gold Lovers has appealed to the football fraternity and to the football clubs of the country to give them a chance for a trial so that they can prove their ability and can fulfill their dream as a footballer.
