DSA PRESS RELEASE : ONE HUNDRED FIFTY(150) GRASS-ROOT LEVEL FOOTBALLERS WERE FACILATED AT THE CONCLUSION OF ONE MONTH LONG SUMMER COACHING CAMP ORGANISED BY CAPITAL FOOTBALL ACADEMY IN ASSOCIATION

A month long football Summer Camp organized by Capital Football Committee concluded at ptrestigious Ambedkar stadium amidst great enthusiasm. Chief Guest Mirza Javed Ali,District President of Chandni Chowk Congress and Guest of Honor, Ex Councilor, Anita Sharma gave the certificate and memento to the participants of the camp.

Mirza Javed Ali, in his address, assured the organizers to provide all possible help to organize such camps in future. He lauded the initiative of the Capital Football Committee to organize such camp. In this month long camp about 250 kids from all parts of Delhi participated in the Summer camp. Senior coach Bachi Ram along with other coaches Jagdish, Mohd Ghizali and Vijay Gurung gave the professional coaching to kids of various age groups during this camp.

On the concluding day the two teams of the participating children played a very exciting match. President of the Capital Football Academy Syed Khurram Raza assured the children that very soon Academy will announce the full year training program. Academy Secretary Liaqat Ali said that players selected during camp will participate in the coming Inter Academy tournament to be held in Delhi.

In his vote of thanks Academy Vice President Manzoor Malik said that without the support of the Principal of Dr. Zakir Husain School Jafarabad Dr. Maroof Khan and office bearers of Ahbab Football Club this camp would not have been possible. He thanked DSA Vice President N. K. Bhatia for his support in holding this camp.

Indian National team Captain Sunil Chhetri will conduct a Football Summer Camp at the Ambedkar Stadium from June 16 (Sunday) onwards. The Camp being organised by LetzPlay FC in association with the Delhi Soccer Association will continue till June 23, 2013.

Chhetri, who Captained India to two successive Tournament triumphs, the SAFF Championship 2012 and the Nehru Cup 2013 sounded excited at the prospect of interacting and teaching young kids the finer aspects of the " Beautiful Game.

Sunil said: "It's not just a Camp pulled out from the dictionary' rather, the kids will be taking back Home of how they need to take it up further. The idea is to give the kids a proper feeling of how a training process should be."

He added: "I will personally talking and interacting with the kids and tell them about the mistakes which I made at their age. I will also have a separate session with the parents."

Letzplay FC which stays committed to Youth Development will be taking care of the Kit for the participants, supply the balls and also proper nourishment and nutrition to the kids after and in between the training process.

BY DEEPAK - MAHARASHTRA : Maharashtra Kolhapur based, Gadhinglaj United's 11th Dr. Ghali school league football tournament successfully complected. Gadhinglaj High school emerged the champion in both U-17 & U-14 group. The Team beat M.R. Highschool & Jagruti high school in the final respectively. A total of 25 teams and more than 500 upcoming players were participated. The award "Man of the series" went to Digvijay Jadhav & Sourbh Jadhav jointly.

In the final of U- 17 group, host team Gadhinglaj High school defeated M.R High school on Tie breaker 3-1 as the schedule time score was goalless. Gadhinglaj High school Caption and Goalkeeper Akashay Savant saves 3 penalty & become the hero of the match. From Gadhinglaj's Tukaram Rathod, Mahesh Jagtap, Abhishek Javale & from M.R . school only Sandip Gondhali is the scorer.

In U-14 tournament the host team shown their dominance once more as Gadhinglaj High school beat Jagruti High school by 4-2. Gadhinglaj's Omkar Hebbale 2, Sachine more& Umesh Ravan scored. From Jagruti's Samrath Kumbhar, Sachine More were the scorers. Best Player award was given to Ashwin Desai, Toukir Nadaf,Raviraj Londhe, Samerth Kumbhar, Parthmesh Chungadi, Dharaj desai, Tousif Bojgar, Rushikesh Ghatage.

club secretary Deepak kuppannvar told us that the main purpose to organise of the tournament is to search the talented footballer and to arrange the boys for match experience. This is 11th year of this tournament. In the Tournament 11 teams divided into 2 groups. Gadhinglaj United, Master sports, Raje Sambhaji, Sai Education are the 4 teams qualified for super league.

Deepak is delighted as his club Gadhinglaj United wins all league matches with big margin. In super league Gadhinglaj United beat Sambhajiraje 3-0, Sai education 1-0 & draw with Master sports. In Gadhinglaj United club all academy players are played because most of all senior players playing outside professional Clubs.

The comittee felicitated the Referees of the Tournaments - Amit Savant, Nikhil Khanna, Mahesh Sutar, Suraj Teli,Sanket Patil, Umesh Devgoda, Prasanna Prasadi, Abhijeet Chavan, Lalit Shinde, Chotu Patil.
