JAYDIP DASGUPTA : Kolkata had witnessed many high profile matches, but the AFC cup semifinal between home team East Bengal and Away team Kuwait SC, on the 22nd will be the most high profile International competitive football match to be played ever in Kolkata. The team Kuwait SC is expected to arrive Kolkata on the early morning on Sunday at around 3 am.

East Bengal Club had organized a motivational programme today at the club premises in order to boost up the morale of the footballers. The programme was attend by Pradip Banerjee, Amal Dutta, Arun Ghose, Sayed Nayeemuddin, Monoranjan Bhattacherjee and Bhaskar Gunguly. Those eminent EX - India International footballers and coaches inspired the footballers and urge them to prove their ability.

AFC are sending a Dope Medical Officer who will going to organize Medical Test before the semi final.The East Bengal team Doctor Dr S.R.Dasgupta informed the footballers and advised them not to take any medicine without his consent. The demand for tickets are increasing. It is expected that there will be more than sixty thousand supporters to be present at the Yubabharati Krirangan on 22nd October. The match will kick off at 4 pm. The visiting team will train at 9 am on Sunday at YBK.
