I-League new team Kalyani Bharat FC

23.11.2014: Kolkatafootball.com News : Bharat FC starts it's journey in Indian Football. The Group unveiled the name and philosophy of its football cluband launched the club-crest during a press conference at the city’s JW Marriot. After JSW managed Bangaluru FC, Bharat FC is the new franchisee team owned by the Kalyani Group in Indian football which will going to participate in the 2014-15 I League. Bharat FC is a the second football team from Pune, while their home ground is Chatrapati Sivaji Sports Complex Belwadi Football Stadium.

The new football club of the Kalyani Group Bharat FC is being launched by Amit Kalyani, Executive Director of the Kalyani Group at a function in Pune today. Bharat FC director Kunal Agarwal was also present in the opening ceremony at the Hotel JW Marriot. The primary colours in the club-crest of Bharat FC are red and blue. Red signifies passion, activity and a vigorous impatience to move forward all the time. Blue epitomizes truth and loyalty.

The newly launched I league team will be coached by Stuart Watkiss, who has previously worked with English Premier League side Hull City FC. He will be assisted by Stanly Rozario, who has an experience of managing the I league teams East Bengal, Mohun Bagan and Lazong FC. The team will going to declare the Marquee footballer soon and are in a target to build up a strong and competitive team for the I league.

While interacting with the media Amit Kalyani, Executive Director of the Kalyani Group said, "We will focus on all aspects of football and going forward we will look at further enhancing the youth development and grass root programs. We are looking at bringing talent from India and abroad and adopt best practices for building a strong foundation for Bharat FC".
