13.09.2016 : Masood Fakhri, one of the greatest Pakistani footballers who also played in Kolkata, passed away on Monday. He was the first Pakistani to score a hat-trick in an international Tournament in a game against Singapore in Manila Asian Games 1954 as Pakistan won by 6-2. The legend was 84 years and took his last breath in Wales.
Fakhri was born in 1932 near Toba Tek Singh, at the age of 17 years he started playing football. at the age of 20 he represented Pakistan in a four-nation tournament in Colombo.
The man, who played left out in Green colour, moved to the United Kingdom in 1954 and got settled there. He was the Legendary Footballer of East Bengal from 1952-54 and was the first sub-continent Footballer to play professional league in England in 1955. He represented East Bengal in USSR and Romania Friendly in 1953. That time other than Masud Fakri, few Pakistani footballers played in Kolkata teams. Taj Mohammed, Niyaz, Moosa, Hassan played for East Bengal and Mohammedan SC. Moosa was highest scorer for East Bengal for 2 times.

Rajasthan - 13.09.2016 : Prashant and Shiv from Jaipur FC, Rajasthan are on trials at different clubs in Europe. They have been training with Fundacion Marcet for the last two years and have been playing European Youth Football League (EYFL). Currently they are with their agent visiting different clubs in Madrid and are on trials. They visited EMF C.D. Cobeña Football Club last week and were part of the training and played a match against C.D. Molareño and won by 2-1.
As Rajasthan State Football Association had also come back into shape after almost 9 years, they hope that these players soon will have some good opportunity knocking their future and they start playing professional.
13.09.2016 : Eight candidates have successfully cleared the AFC Pro License Course which was held in the 2015-16 season. The successful candidates are -- > Bino George, A. Robin Charles Raja, Syed Sabir Pasha, Naushad Moosa, Ian Gillan, Kenichi Yatsuhashi, Guglielmo Arena.
Indian football coaches - Khalid Jamil, Mariano Dias, Santosh Kashyap, Hilal Parray and Thangboi Singto - has received the AFC pro-licence diploma.
