Gabriel E Joseph will get LIFE TIME AWARD FOR COACHING INSTITUTED BY PEFI

17.08.2016 : Mr. Gabriel E Joseph who is currently continuing in coaching is the first active Indian coaches Instructor of Asian Football Confederation (AFC), former Director and head of coaching Deptt and coach in the national panel for the national teams of AIFF

He is also the First Indian coach for the Technical study for AFC and SAFF, Initiaor for I.T into soccer for AFC and AIFF coaching courses in India. Mr. Joseph is the compiler of certain football technical books and technical articles for the benefit of the Football fraternity in caching.

He will be given the LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD FOR THE EXCELLENCE OF COACHING INSTITUTED BY Physical Education Foundation of India (PEFI) on 23rd August 2016 at Auditorium , Hall No.7, Pragati Maidaan, New Delhi.

Physical Education Foundation of India starting to recognizing the Best Teachers, Researchers, Leaders, Sports Journalist, Schools, Colleges, Universities in the field of Physical education & sports and will present the “PEFI AWARDS on 23rd August 2016 at New Delhi.

IFA OBSERVED  35th Football Lovers Day 2015

16.08.2016 : The 36th Football Lovers Day was organized by the Indian Football Association (West Bengal) in cooperation with the Association of Voluntary Blood Doners at Kolkata today at Kshudiram anushilan Kendra. A blood donation camp was organized to remember the 16 football lovers who had to sacrifice their lives in a Kolkata Derby between East Bengal and Mohun Bagan on 16th August 1980. IFA Secretary Utpal Ganguly was present in the occasion.

It was a enormous response, as 466 football lovers in Kolkata while 587 people in the district towns donate their blood in the noble cause. Each donor were presented a certificate of honor which was signed by an eminent footballer Ex-India International Defender Pradip Chowdhury, who was a member of Mohan Bagan in that ill fated match of 16th August 1980..

AIFF ATCH COMMISSIONER : The list of 29 successful candidates


16.08.2016 : All India Football Federation conducted a two-day seminar for the aspiring Match Commissioners at the AIFF Headquarters last week. 51 candidates turned up for the seminar and at the end of the two-day program, they had to appear for an examination on 10th August 2016. Twenty-nine candidates successfully passed the course which entitles them to officiate in various AIFF competitions.
