8th April’16, Kolkata: Today in a star studded ceremonial occasion at Calcutta Journalist Club, United Sports Club felicitated their U-15 team. The evening started with a documentary movie which contained a crisp, mind blowing and heart touching content elaborating the journey , achievements and goal of United Sports and the people who stood by their struggle and made their journey even more glorified and eventful.

The program was graced by the presence of Mr. Subrata Dutta (Senior Vice President AIFF) , Mr. Utpal Ganguly (Hony. IFA Secretary) , Mr. Subrata Bhattacharya (Former India International , Arjuna Awardee), Mr. Santosh Kr. Kejriwal (Director – Santosh Sales Pvt.Ltd.) , Mr. Sanjoy Sen , Mr. Djair Mirinda Garcia.

In an inspirational speech Mr. Dutta congratulated the U-15 team for their successful run and wished them luck for their venture in Goa. He said “United Sports is not just a name of a club, it’s a noble association of few inspirational and motivational people. He also added United Sports is like a family and it is very close to my heart” , Mr. Ganguly cited some hope of light for the youngsters and requested them to give their 100% in their games in Goa.




Mr. Bhattacharya congratulated every associated of the club and said due to responsible approach of United Sports officials and their futuristic viewpoints the club has successfully scouted young boys from all over Bengal and accumulated proper set of talents and today they are not only the youth power house of Bengal but also a prolific force in Indian youth development.

Mr. Sen and Garcia were sounding nostalgic while addressing on the club, to them it was like a family reunion, an evening with old associates and close friends, in a journey through the memory lane they described United Sports as a association of modern football thinkers and sensible football reformers. Mr. Santosh expressed his whole hearted gratitude to the club and congratulated the boys for their present success and wished them luck for their upcoming venture.

To conclude the evening the players were felicitated and handed over with trolley Bags and a full set of kits. It was a prolific appreciation that won hearts of all the addressees. The team is leaving for Goa on 14th April for the playoff rounds of U-15 I -league.
