Gadhinglaj United football Association emerged Champion of KSA league 2016-2017
22.02.2017: Gadhinglaj United football Association emerged Champion of KSA league 2016-2017. This is the 5th League Championship of this league. The one Month durations league held between 20 teams 20 teams divided in 5 groups of local area played at M.R. High school & Shivaraj College ground. Master sports Club 2nd, Sai Education FC 3rd, Navjoyat FC & Beknal Raj Sports got 4th and 5th place in this league.

In group stage Gadhinglaj United won all 4 matches & entered Super league. In Super League Gadhinglaj United win all 4 matches. Captain Bupendre Koli of Gadhinglaj United awarded for highest scoring as he scored 9 goals.

AIFF 2nd Divn I-League : Who will get the tickets of Final round?
AIFF PRESS RELEASE : On the brink of the last leg of the round-robin stage matches, the Second Division League is awaiting nothing less than a nail-biting finishing. After a repetitive postponement of matches owing to the worse weather condition, finally, the Kashmir outfits have hit the pitch after a hiatus. After four match-weeks, Delhi United and Real Kashmir are tied at the top with six points. Sudeva Moonlight FC are stranded in the third spot, having garnered one point fewer. Lonestar Kashmir FC, at the moment, are at the bottom with four points.

Incidentally, Real Kashmir will host both Delhi-based teams in the next two legs, but those matches will be played at the Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi.

Group B has reached the climax and the curtain call is scheduled for this Saturday. Neroca FC have clinched four wins so far from their five matches and the Manipur-based outfit are gearing up to host the Black Panthers in the last match of Group B. Hindustan FC are also going to host Southern Samity in the other match of Group B on the same day. Albeit Hindustan FC failed to open their account so far in the Second Division League, the Kolkata-based team can’t afford to take them lightly.

Southern Samity and Mohammedan Sporting both are locked at nine points from five matches, while Southern Samity are enjoying a better goal difference (+1). All four teams are also running neck-to-neck to qualify from Group C. Although debutantes Pride Sports haven’t enjoyed a placid run, but the other three clubs have given others a run for their money to fix the National Finals dates. Mumbai-based Kenkre FC have already qualified from this group and other two teams Fateh Hyderabad AFC & debutantes Ozone FC Bengaluru are vying for the final spot and none can afford any slip-up at the moment.

Table-toppers Kenkre FC are scheduled to host Ozone FC Bengaluru, who have garnered seven points so far on the penultimate day of the round-robin stage whereas Pride Sports will welcome Fateh Hyderabad AFC in the other match on the same day. Fateh Hyderabad are enjoying the second spot at the moment with nine points, two points more than third-placed Ozone FC Bengaluru.

20.02.2017 : Air India win Nadkarni Cup to beat PIFA -Colaba 3-2 in the Final. PIFA Colaba FC were runners up in 2011. For PIFA Elvis scored the both goals.

30 local coaching camp Coaches of Barasat and Madhyamgram area participated in this 3 days coaching programme where AIFF 'A' license coach and India women international ex player Kuntala Ghosh Dastidar, Ex- Mohammedan SC / Air India / Tollygunge Agragami footballer and AFC - B licence Coach Madhusudan Majumdar and Ex-footballer and AFC-B license Coach Arindam Deb guided and trained those 30 coaches with various systems and modern techniques of Football Coaching for Jr and Sr. boys.

PIFA Colaba FC reach in the final of Nadkarni Cup 2017

19.02.2017 : A young PIFA Colaba FC team mainly comprising of players from the Colaba Comminity have played the Nadkarni Cup knockout tournament along with fifteen leading Elite and Super Division teams of the MDFA League for the top honours in the 110th edition organized by RCF Sports Club under the aegis of the Mumbai District Football Association and at the RCF Colony ground, Chembur from February 8 to 20, 2017. PIFA Colaba FC were runners up in 2011. They will meet Air India on 20 February at 3:30pm to play the final match.
