SUBASH BHOWMICK CAME BACK AS TECHNICAL DIRECTOR OF RED AND GOLD IN SUPER CUP
Subash Bhowmick joins East Bengal as the Technical Director and Khalid Jamil will going to continue as chief coach in the inaugural edition of the forth coming Super Cup. This was officially announced by the club secretary Kalyan Mazumdar after a prolonged meeting by the club officials at Kolkata today.Bhowmick was included in the coaching team after Khalid Jamil failed to prove himself in the recently concluded I-League.
This is the forth instance when one of the experienced coach of India Subash Bhowmick took the charge of East Bengal.Subash Bhowmick was one of the successful coach of East Bengal was responsible for winning the Asean Cup in the year 2003 apart from Kolkata Football League, Durand Cup and IFA Shield.
The top officials of Mohun Bagan Srinjay Bose and Debasish Dutta resigned
The top officials of Mohun Bagan Srinjay Bose and Debasish Dutta resigned. Srinjoy was occupying the position of assistant general secretary while Debasish Dutta, was the finance secretary. The top officials announced their registration in a press meeting at Kolkata today. After the resignation of these two top officials Mohun Bagan football team will face a hard time just at the time of commencing the inaugural edition of the Super Cup.
While answering regarding the resignation the officials said that they are facing non co operation from the other club officials. In this context it is quite impossible from them to continue in their respective position. Though they feel that the football team is in safe hands with coach Shankarlal Chakraborty.
The assistant general secretary of Mohun Bagan, Srinjay Bose said ,"We have been thinking about it for about four years now. We have not found a solution and the situation has worsened. No one is indispensable."
32 probables Indian team for AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Kyrgyz .

: National Coach Stephen Constantine has announced a list of 32 probables for a preparatory camp in Mumbai ahead of India’s forthcoming AFC Asian Cup qualifier match against Kyrgyz Republic scheduled to be played at the Dolon Omurzakov Stadium in Bishkek on March 27, 2018.
The match will kick-off at IST 7.30pm (local time 8pm).
The list of probables is as follows:
GOALKEEPERS: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Vishal Kaith, Amrinder Singh, Rehenesh T.P.
DEFENDERS: Pritam Kotal, Nishu Kumar, Lalruatthara, Anas Edathodika, Sandesh Jhingan, Salam Ranjan Singh, Sarthak Golui, Jerry Lalrinzuala, Narayan Das, Subhasish Bose.
MIDFIELDERS: Jackichand Singh, Udanta Singh, Seityasen Singh, Dhanapal Ghanesh, Anirudh Thapa, Germanpreet Singh, Rowllin Borges, Md. Rafique, Cavin Lobo, Bikash Jairu, Halicharan Narzary.
