KRISHANU DEY WILL BE AWARDED POSTHUMOUSLY BY EAST BENGAL ON SPORTS DAY

The ex captain of East Bengal Late Krishanu Dey will be awarded with Paltu Das Memorial Trophy posthumously. Krishanu Dey was one of the fantastic ball player of the country who had played a number of memorable matches dawning the Red and Gold colour.

Krishanu were one of of the rare footballer of India who scored a hatrik in an international match against Thailand in the Mardeka Cup while representing India. East Bengal has arranged for a host of programme where the Principle Secretary of Sports, Goverment of West Bengal Mr. Rajesh Pandey will be the chief guest. The Vise President of AIFF, and the President of IFA Mr Subrata Dutta and the IFA Secretary Mr. Utpal Ganguly are likely to be present on the occasion. Eminent Sports Journalist Boria Majumder will deliver his speech regarding activities of Late Poltu Das.

East Bengal will felicitate the five best footballers of different division of Kolkata football league who had an extraordinary.

Manish Kr Lama -- United Students Club -- 2nd Division
Suraj Mahato -- ATK Junior -- 3rd Division
Manish Mazumdar -- Manicktala SA -- 4th Division
Suman Majhi -- Kashipur Swarasati -- 5th Division

The club will donate football to the different football coaching camps of the districts and Kolkata.
