St. Michael Senior Schoool win the 7th Archbishop Angelo Ferandes Memorial Football Tournament, School Football in Delhi 02.08.2015 : USA based NRI Indian Bengali football coach Arunava Sanyal nick name Ron has been awarded "The Leaders in Diversity Awards 2015". Triangle Business Journal, USA announced its 2015 Leaders in Diversity Awards winners. The Leaders in Diversity Awards program is in its third year and recognizes the accomplishments of Triangle businesses, individuals and nonprofits as they strive to reflect the essential, unique array of our community.

These winners have demonstrated respect for inclusive treatment of others, advocacy for underrepresented groups and multicultural marketing. This year's awards are made up of 23 winners, including the lifetime achievement honor.

The USA based Magazine "Triangle Business Journal" and PNC Bank will recognized the winners at an awards lunche on Sept. 10 at the Raleigh Marriott City Center. Sougata Mukherjee, editor of the Triangle Business Journal. "Our winners this year not only reflect the statement of equality for all - they are front and center in changing an organization's vision, values and principles. We are glad to have created a forum to celebrate the achievement of these winners.".

The UEFA A-B-C license coach Mr. Ron Sanyal said "We are all the children of God. Sun rises equally for all. The work I did to promote "Unity in Diversity" in Soccer through Brazilian Soccer Connection in USA, Brazil & India,it helps me to get this prestegious award".

02.08.2015 : E.S.Shyam the Deputy General Manager of State Bank of Hyderabad and also an AFC 'A' license Football coach. Currently he is the coach of State Bank of Hyderabad Football team told us that his Bank State Bank of Hyderabad was the sponsor of a Football Tournament organised by "Street Cause" which is an NGO.

THE JAIN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL TEAM WINNERS OF THE STREET CAUSE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT defeating Jain Golden Eagels Hyderabad Public School, Hyderabad Public School via Penalty shoot outs (Sudden Death) 7-6.

In the Tournament prize distribution ceremony, Chief Guest was Mr.V.VISWANATHAN Chief General Manager of State Bank of Hyderabad and Guest of Honour was Mr. K Nagaraj, Deputy General Manager and Mr. Akhilesh Juka Reddy Founder of Street Cause were present.

Mr. E.S.Shyam also informed that the fund raised from the tournament will be utilized for Old Age Homes, Under privilege Children and part of it will be utilized for the development of Football in Cantonment Area where no of Stalwarts were produced.

St. Michael Senior Schoool win the 7th Archbishop Angelo Ferandes Memorial Football Tournament, School Football in Delhi

02.08.2015 : Hosts- St. Michael Senior Schoool, Pusa Road annexed the 7th Archbishop Angelo Ferandes Memorial Football Tournament after a gap of 7 yeardefeating St. Columba's School by a solitary goal. Tournament was held in St. Michael's Sr. Sec. School The enthusiasm of students was apparent as teams participated from all over Delhi. The final Match was between the host St. Michael's Sr. Sec. School and St. Columba's School.

Mrs. Anju Luthra, H.O.D. Sports, Jesus and Mary Collage was the honorable guest fior the day. The match was also attended by the Principal Rev. Dr. Sabu Joesph, Headmistress Sr. Catherine D'souza and Coordinator Mrs. Olinka Gulati. It was a spine chilling match till the very end. In the second half extra time Joe Massey the main striker of the host school scored a goal and leading the school to victory.

He was also declared the best player of the tournament. The Chief Guest Mrs. Anju Luthra gave away the prizes to the players along with the school Principal. According to Mr. Vivek Diwakar, organizing secretary of the tournament 'the match was fought very well by both the teams and hence gave the best performance for the day.' The tournament came to an end with success passing way for another tournament next year.
