FC GOA APPOINTS JUAN FERRANDO AS HEAD COACH
30.4.20: FC Goa today announced the name of Juan Ferrando as the club's new Head coach.
The 39-year-old began his career with the academy at RCD Espanyol before moving to Barcelona B.Ferrando began working as a football coach at the age of 18. He then coached the likes of FC RICOH Premia, Terrassa CF and CE Hospitalet before moving to Malaga, to become the coach of the youth team.
Juan will take charge of the Gaurs for the upcoming season of the Indian Super League and the AFC Champions League campaign.
A UEFA Pro License holder, Ferrando was awarded the award for 'Best Coach' in 2017/18 by the Greek Football Association for his work at Volos.

TRANSFER NEWS - LOBO & JAIRU RETURNED TO RED&GOLD
28.4.20: As we have mentioned in our earlier previews, East Bengal finally signed Cavin Peter Lobo and Bikash Jairu for the up comoing season.
Cavin played for East Bengal from 2012-2018, scored 17 important goals in 120 matches. Cavin later joined ISL franchisee ATK and Kerala Basters. The goan midfielder played for Churchill Brothers(2018-19) and Punjab FC(2019-20),in I league quite successfully.

Bikash Jairu, the midfielder from Sikkim played for East Bengal from 2015-17 before he joined ISL franchisee FC Pune City(on loan from East Bengal), ATK and Jamshedpur FC. Though it not clear regarding East Bengal's participation in ISL, but the officials are keen to build up a strong and balanced side for the up coming season.

23.4.20: The wing back Ausotosh Mehta confirm his contract extenssion with ATK-Mohun Bagan. Ausotosh had a successful term with the I League champions, finally decided to continue with Mohun Bagan, though he had offer from the other clubs. The two young talents Sk Sahil and Shuvo Ghosh will continue in ATK-Mohun Bagan. The deal is almost confirm.

Kerala Blasters FC are in discussion with striker VP Suhair and Spanish defender Fran Morento. According to the sources Suhair is likely to join the Kerala franchisee for the up coming season.

KFC NEWS DESK-22.04.20:Kerala Blasters today confirmed Kibu Vicuna as their Head Coach for the upcoming season. I-League winning Spanish Coach maintained a good season in Kolkata Giant Mohun Bagan in the last season.

Kibu will replace Eelco Schattorie as the new coach in Kerala Blasters. This was officially announced by the Kerala franchisee in press note today. Kerala Blasters finished 7th position in this season. Hyderabad FC sign a three years deal with young Indian international Nikhil Poojary. Nikhil played all the 18 games in the recently concluded ISL for Hyderabad FC.

ANDRES INIESTA IN INDIAN FOOTBALL ???
20.4.20: Andres Iniesta in Indian football? The Spanish midfielder who scored the winning goal against Holland in FIFA World cup final in 2010. Barelona FC, where the 35 years old Spanish star played with Lionel Messi from 2002 to 2018 currently playing for Vissel Kobe in Japan. If the news proves true than Indian football will definitely rise to a great height.

The news came into limelight during an Instagram live session between Sunil Chetri and the coach of Bengaluru FC Carles Cuadrat. Carles Cuadrat has a good connection with Bercelona FC. Cuadrat was telling to Sunil regarding Inesta during the chat. " He knows who we are, he knows what we are doing, you never know." Sunil was stunned by the news for a while when Cuadrat said "We are trying to sign Inesta, but not that he is coming."

Will Andres Iniesta join Bengaluru FC to play in ISL ? If he signs , then Bengaluru FC will register a precious deal in Indian transfer market.

THE WORLD CUP COACH OF COSTA RICA ARE ON THE EYES OF RED & GOLD
19.4.20: Oscar Antonio Ramírez Hernández, the national team of Costa Rica are on the target of East Bengal. Oscar Ramirez managed Costa Rica in the recently concluded Russia 2018 World Cup.

According to the sources East Bengal had a discussion with the manager of the 55 years old Costarican coach. Even Oscar Ramirez had a telephonic discussion with Jonny Acosta regarding East Bengal. If things went right then East Bengal will going to appoint a high profile coach after Alexandro Menendez, who resigns after the first round of I League Derby.

Another sources said that East Bengal had a preliminary discussion with Elco Satorie and with British coach Ashley Westwood. Though the news is yet to be confirmed.

16.4.20: Ishan Pandita, the 21-year-old Bengaluru born forward came in the headlines in the transfer market. Ishan currently playing for La Liga based semi-pro side Lorca FC that takes part in Spain’s fourth tier.

The football clubs of Kolkata East Bengal and ATK-Mohun Bagan are interested to sign the young striker in their favour for the up coming season. East Bengal initially offered Ishan, who himself expressed his desire to play in India.

Meanwhile, the officials of ATK-Mohun Bagan shortlised Ishan Pandita and offered him to play for their team. It is likely that there will be a keen contest between the clubs of Kolkata in win deal.

15.4.20: Bikamjeet Singh, the midfielder of Odisha FC likely to join East Bengal for the up coming season. Bikramjit played for Mohun Bagan before he joined the ISL club Odisha FC. Sources said that the deal will be finalised shortly. Bikash Jairu, the midfielder of Jamshedpur FC are shortly to finalise a two years deal with East Bengal.Bikash, a footballer of Sikkim played for East Bengal earlier and then opt to join the ISL franchisee.

Mohammed Irshad, the defender of Gokulam Kerala FC are interested to join the Red and Gold. Irshad played for DSK Shivajians, Minerva Punjab in I league apart from Gokulam. Wahengbam Angousana Luwang, the young left back of TRAU FC are also in the shortlist of East Bengal.

11.4.20: Indian ace striker Balwant Singh joins East Bengal. The agreement will last for two years. Balwant played for Mohun Bagan before he joins Chennaiyin FC and ATK. 7.4.20: Bengaluru FC today extend the contract for yet another year with the Spanish midfielder Dimas Delgado.
Thirty-seven-year-old Delgado has been central to the way Bengaluru go about their play since he arrived at the club in 2017. 5.4.20: Omid Singh, Indian-origin Iranian midfielder signed a two years deal for the Kolkata giant East Bengal. Omid Singh by birth an Indian from Punjab holds an Indian passport, currently plays for Naft Masjed Soleyman FC in the Persian Gulf Pro League.
Omid is a popular footballer in Iran, played started his journey for Gahar Zagroz in Iranian football league. He played for Naft Masjed Soleyman, Esteghlal Khuzestan, Pars Jonoubi and Nassaji before he opt to sign for East Bengal.

EAST BENGAL ARE IN ADVANCE TALK WITH SANKAR
4.4.20: The I League has suspended for an indefinite due to the lock down process following the Corona virus, but the Indian football clubs are preparing to recruit footballers for the up coming season. Sources said that AIFF are planning for the number of foreign footballers to restrict to four in place of six. Though the final declaration is yet to be announced.
East Bengal are in advance talks with the Mohun Bagan goal keeper Sankar Roy. As Mohun Bagan will merge with ATK it is likely Sankar will be in search of a new team. The Senegalese striker of Mohun Bagan Papa Babacar Diawara are also in discussion with the Red and Gold officials. Papa Diwara was the most successful striker in I League till now scored the maximum number of goals.
