Gadhinglaj United's 6th Kole - Hatti- Shanmugam trophy school football tournament successfully complected. M.R. Highschool (Under 17), V.D Shinde High school ( U-14), Gadhinglaj High school ( U-12) emerged as Champion of the Tournament.

In this total 20 teams 400 upcoming players are participated. Ajay Nangare, Rohit Satvekar, Pranav Kurane are selected as best player of the tournament.

In the final of U- 17 group, M.R. High school defeated Gadhinglaj High school on Tie breaker 3-1. In full time score is 0-0. In tie breaker M.R High school Caption Sandip Gondhali saves 3 penalty & become the hero.

. In U-14 tournament V.D. Shinde High school beat Jagruti High school by 1-0. Shinde's Rohit Satvekar scored all Important goal.

In U-12 final Gadhinglaj Highschool beat Braister Nath Pai school 2-0. Gadhinglaj's Ajay Nagre scored 2 goal.

After the final, Committee gave the Prizes to the Footballers where, Kolhapur district Majuor Federation President Uday Joshi, United President Prof. Sunil Shintre, Vice President Suresh Kolki,C.A. Gajendra Bandi,Treasurer Mahadev Patil, Director Dr. Ravindra Hattraki, Arvind Bardeskar, Prashant Daddikar, Bhairu Salwade, Manish Kole are present.Tournament Co ordinater Sanket Patil wel comes all.

After organising the successful IPL style Football Tournament now Gadhinglaj United (Dist. Kolhapur) Maharashtra is goint to organize the 6th edition of School football tournament which is schedule to be started from Saturday 20 July 2013. The winner and Runners up will get the trophies in the memory of Ex-coach Appasaheb Kole, Ajit FC Club Founder Rudrappa Hatti & Refree Shanmugam (Pune).

The tournament is knock-out basis for two days where 20 teams of U-12, U-14, U-17 will be participated and there will be an involvement of more than 400 upcoming players.

Deepak Kuppannvar the secretary or Gadhinglaj United told about the past glory of the tournament. He told that, the Gadhinglaj United have a glorious football history over more than 70 years. They are struggling for Football and make so many students for a future footballer in this remore small town of Kolhapur.

They are spending money from their own pocket as they have no sponsor still now but their love and passion for the beautiful game - Football, boost them to make their events super succes in every occasion with the help of some local small businessmen.

Deeppak told about those personalities, who died but still alive with their past football activities in the district. Ex coach Mr. Kole developed football passion in the area and gifted so many footballers in the decade 1960-1980. In his time, his hard work made famous M.R High school team in kolhapur district as a champion Football team.

Deepak also told, Ajit FC club President Rudrappa Hatti & his friends organised football tournament in Diwali vacation for continuous 20 years in Kolhapur and we are proude that due too those tournament Gadhinglaj was famous all over India. For those tournament, another personality who blew the witchle and played a key role every time to make success of the Tournaments, he was Refree Shanmugam. No one can forget his contribution in the district football.

The Tournament will start on Saturday with priliminary rounds and Sunday morning semi final & at 4 pm three finals will be played at M.R. Highschool Ground. With the help of Tournament Co ordinater Sanket Pati, Umesh Devgonda & his squad, the football fans of the district are exited about this tournament.

DEEPK. K- Kolhapur: 11.09.2013 : Kolhapur, Maharashtra basewd Gadhinglaj United Football Association is going to organize a national level football tournament in Diwali vacation. The tournament will be playing on and from 07 to 12 Nov. 2013 as usual.

For this mega event prizes of 1,00,000/- will be given to the winners. The remarkable feature of this competition is that near about 20 teams from various states like Kerala, Gujarat, Delhi, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Chhattisgarh are participating. This is the 9th year of this tournament.

This national football competition of Gadhinglaj has glorious history of 60 years. This is only one competition not only in Maharashtra but also in India which has been organized in rural area on such a high standard without any sponsorship. The Indian football season starts from this tournament.

This great tradition of the tournament was pioneered by 'Ajit Krida Mandal'. But due to the impact of commercialization of sport & rapidly increasing prices this great tradition was discontinued meanwhile. By considering all these facts by the invaluable support of football lovers donation we have tried to revive the tradition Prize money is not the factor to love or work for The Beautiful Game.

Deepak Kuppannvar, the Secretary of the Gadhinglaj United Football Association tol us that "It needs only Passion, Dedication, Willingness and dream to show something for Football. Gadhinglaj United Football Association have all those components to work sincerely for the benefit of Football in rural areas of Maharashtra".

He told "It is really very hard task for us to run the tournament in such adverse conditions. But We are fighting for FOOTBALL without any Sponsor or a proper infrastructure in our rural area, but we are confident to make success the FOOTBALL tournament like past years and ruled out all the hardles from our way. Although we try to work honestly to inculcate the spirit of sport.

Deepak also expressed the 8th edition of the coming tournament will encourage the local football fans and players and he also expected that more than 15000 spectators will gather in the match days which is their real capital. They don't bother whether they will get sponsor or not bcoz they want to see the WIN OF THE BEAUTIFUL GAME with their effort and passion.

The Gadhinglaj United Football Association have a Senior team, U- 16 Academy, where a total of 60 players are learning football free of cost. Deepak also praised us as we promote and encourage their heartiest effort throuhout the world by making news since last 5 years.

08.11.2013: Mumbai police Mumbai 0-0, 3-0 (Pen) Milan FC Beed

The tournament kicked off at 1.30 pm with our honorable dignitaries with huge spectators to support and completed two matches of the first day. The opening ceremony photo has been attached in the mail.

First match was played between Mumbai police Mumbai vs Milan FC Beed. The schedule time was 0-0. In tie breakers Milan FC beed won 3-0. Rauf, faiz and Shafeeq scored for Milan FC Beed. Best struggler of the match was awarded to Deepak Kharatmal of Mumbai Police for his splendid performance.

Second match was played between Chetana FC Pusad vs Tera Fera FC belgaum wherein Chetana FC won the match 1-0. Leran of Chetana FC sealed the match by scoring just five minutes after the kick off whistle. best struggler of the match was awarded to Vicky Gottam from Tera Fera FC for his spectacular performance.

All India football Tournament preparation in final Stage. Gadhinglaj United Football Association is going to organize a national level football tournament from 8 to 12 th Nov.2013. This mega event prizes of 1,00,000/- will be given to the winners. The remarkable feature of this competition is that near about 14 teams from various states like Kerala, Goa, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh are participating. This is the Ninth year of this tournament.

Mr. Deepak the Secretary of the Organisation told us about their budget of the tournament. He told the Total expenditure of the competition would be is near about Rupees 7/8 Lakhs.They will be paid the allowance to the Referee and all players and all participating teams Travelling, fooding, lodging . It's a fact that the Tournament will run without any Sponsor like this remote area of Rural Kolhapur. But The passion and love for the beautiful game can't make a hurdle to organise. How? The people of the football loving Kolhapur come advance and donate them to make the tournament a grand success. Deepak said, during the preparation of the Tournament the Last 2 months all players are collecting donations from football lovers. THe Farmar's of the village take the responsibility to arrange the foods for thrir GUEST FOOTBALL PLAYERS - by helping to donate rice, Wheat, Oill etc. was taking. The local Football Players and members of the Committee prepare the Grounds before the match hand by hand with their own. More than 15000 people rush to enjoy the feast of this competition in Diwali Vacation.

Various reputed teams like Dempo, Churchill Brothers, Vasco, Sporting club, Raiya Sporting, Core of Signal, Sesa (All Goa), Mahindra United, Tata, State Bank, Custom, Mumbai United (All Bombay), I.T.I, BEML (Bangalore) Malabar United, Josco Club (Kerala), Vijayawada Railway (Andhra Pradesh) National F.C.(Himachal Pradesh) etc. have already participated in this competition to came forward by keeping all their commercial terms & Conditions away. It is possible only due to the love & service of Gadhinglaj people for football.

I league teams Sporting club & Pune football club star their 1st div. campaign by winning this tournament.In this tradition this year Kerala's State Bank travankore ( SBT), Benglores Hindustan Aironitics Ltd.( HAL), Goa Velha, DSK Shivajians such well known teams are participating in the tournament without any professional demand. This year the tournament included SAI Club ( Kolhapur), Beed, Chetana Club (Pusad), Solapur, Blue star Club ( Miraj) Tera fera (Belgaum), Gadhinglaj which will fight for the title.

The tournament opening ceremony was on 8 th Nov. at 1.30 pm. Local Asembely Member Shrimati Sandhyadevi Kupekar, Hasan Mushrif Foundation President Naved Mushrif are the chief guest. Daily four matches are played on knockout pattern.

FINALLY Deepak told that "It is really very Hercules task to run the tournament in such adverse conditions. 9th FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT - NEW BANI SANGHA-BASHIRHAT from 8th JANUARY 2014

22.12.2013 : Bashirhat New Bani Sangha which established in the year 1965 is a reknowned Football Club of the North 24 Parganas District, West Bengal. The team used to participate in the Bashirhat Sub division Football League, Shield and All India Tournament and all over India recognized tournament.

From 2005 the club started their own Football coaching camp at their own football ground Hospital Quarters, Badartala, Basirhat, North 24 PGS. " DIPENDU BISWAS " the famous Indian International Striker, played So many International games in India jersey and played top Indian Clubs like East Bengal, Mohun Bagan, Mohammedan, Mahindra United etc and scored 245 goals so far in his career is the mentor of the Football part of the club.

Dipendu, nick name MITHU, was also a footballer of the club in his boyhood and still alssociate with the development of Football of New Bani Sangha. The club's only motto is to develop football in Basirhat Subdivision from Nursery to various age groups (U-14to U-19). Currently the club have 200+ students in their coaching camp with a dream to make more "DIPENDU BISWAS" from the clubs.

Every year in January, the club organise a Football Tournament at their Ground, In Janyary 2014 their 9th editon of Football Tournament Namly" GANGA FOOTBALL UTSAV" will be started from 8th Januay and the Final will be held on 19th January. 8 Football Teams from various parts of Bengal will participate in the Colourful Football Tournament.

Other than Mentor Dipendu Biswas, the club president Nilu Ghosh and Secretary Rashu Gopal Hazra also very optimistic to make their 10th edition in a grand success.

10.01.2014: SILIGIRI TEAM WIN "Birsha Munda Adivasi Football tournament " - 2014



10.01.2014: A Birsha Munda Adivasi Football tournament was organised by the North Bengal Development Department and Backward Classes Welfare Department, Govt. Of West Bengal, Department of Sports for the ST Boys. This was the 3rd year of the tournament. All the district of North Bengal participated in the tournament. The tournament started from 2nd Jan and ended today 10th January.

On 6th Jan Siliguri team defeated the Jalpaiguri team by 4-0. On 7th Jan we defeated Chachal team by 3-2. On 9th (semi-final).

Siliguri Team Coach Jayabrata Ghosh (AFC B Lisenced) Told taht, "we defeated Islampur team 2-0 in the Final we became the Champion by defeating Kurshong team. In the schedule time the score was 1-1. Then in penalty shootout we won by 4-2". Jayabrata is hopeful about his team and very much delighted about the success.

05.02.2014: DAY - 7: Today In a tough fight match between Barasat United Football and Chinsura XI held at Gougram Gallery Football Tournament where Barasat United FC finally lost to Chinsura team by a solitary goal scored by Nigerian plaayer Abby before half time. Within 10 minites of the match Abbey score the only goal.

In 2nd half Barasat team got some chances to equalize but failed to capitalize the same. Other wise the spectators enjoyed the game very much appriciate the young players of Barasat United FC.

01.02.2014: DAY-6 : Today's match won by PLB SAGARDEEP (24 PARAGANA) against UTTARPARA COACHING CENTER by 3-0. Nigerian striker CHINADAL scored the first goal in second half and then BAPI scored the other two for PLB. The schedule first half was goal less. The young boys of UCC also played high class football against six foreigners of PLB. But the end of the day result 3-0 in Ffavour of PLB SAGARDEEP.

31.01.2014: In 5th Day of the Tournament, Kohinoor XI routed Tribal Association by a margin of 4-0. The first has was goalless in the match.

29.01.2014: In 4th day of the Tournament BARAHANAGAR SPORTING CLUB Won the match by 3-2 in the trie-breaker against BELUR SAKTI SANGHA. The sedule time result was 1-1.scorer for BSS eas Bikash Roy (13') and for Bellur the scorer was Dibendu (46')

27.01.2014: Today Dadabhai XI beat RGL Phonix club of Boichi by a margin of 2-1.

24.01.2014: Today in 2nd day, The match between Memari XI and Naihati Sporing club ended after a thriller match. The schedule time was ended 0-0, then in penalty shootout and sudden death also ended drew as both team score 7 goals each. Finally Memari XI win the match through toss. Memari XI 0-0, 7-7 (pen) Naihati SC

22.01.2014: Today India International and current Footballer of Mohammedan SC, Dipendu Biswas opened the Tournament where Memari KB won 4-2 in tiebreaker agains local team Jamalpur Thana. Schedule time result was 1-1.

Where is Jougram? In the district o Burdwan of West Bengal. Recently the fans of Bengal football much aware of the village "Jougram" but why? The football fanatic this village is now proud of their two footballers, Ram Malik and Ujjal Haoladar who are now playing in Mohun Bagan. Not only that the village Jougram also famous for their "GALLERY FOOTBALL" concept which started in the year 2008.

More than 10/12 thousands villegers including men and women use to watch the Football Tournament sitting in the temporary wooden Gallery sorrounding through out the field of Jougram Friends Union football Ground. From group league to Qr final the entry fee of the match is Rs 10/- and the semi final and final match entry fee is Rs. 15/-.

Satya Nandy, the Football Secretary of the organising Club - "Football Fans Club" of Jougram told us that, their 5th year Football Tournament just started today. 16 teams from various parts of Bengal will take part in the Tournament where the winners and Runners up will get attractive cash Prizes and Trophies along with more individual prizes.

In 9th February Exhibition football match will be held between Ex- India International players versus Film Starts Celebrities. The final will be hald on 22nd February.

. 20.02.2014: Today in the 14th day of Gougram Gallery Football Tournament where Mahespur Pragati Sangha- Chinsura beat Kalna Bullet Burdwan 5-2 in the 2nd semi final. Nigerian oseph scored 2 while another Nigerian Gift, Asit Mandi and Banti Das scored the rest. Maheshpur player Joseph declared man of the match. 22nd Feb the team willl face Dadavai-XI Burdwan in the final.

. 18.02.2014: Today in the 12th day of Gougram Gallery Football Tournament where Dadavai-XI Burdwan and Barahanagar Sporting Club clashed in the first semi final. Dadavai-XI Burdwan beat Barahanagar Sporting Club by a margin of 5-1. Laltu Hembrom scored harrtick and Jiten Murmu scored the rest for the winner. Dadavai-XI Burdwan's Laltu Hembrom declared man of the match.

14.02.2014: Today in the 11th day of Gougram Gallery Football Tournament where Last quarter Final match today won by MAHESH PUR PRAGATI SANGHA against local rival MEMARY JOYDEEP XI by 3-0. All three goals scored by foreigners of MPS. During first half time of the match, Memary goalkeeper made a silly mistake and offered a simple goal to MPS striker JEAMS. Other two goals scored by JOSHEF, who deserved the man of the match award..

13.02.2014: Today in the 10th day of Gougram Gallery Football Tournament where the third Quarter Final match won by spectator's Hot Favorite team KALNA BULLET CLUB (KBC) by 2-0. The team PLB SAGARDEEP (South 24 paragana) played with 3 foreigners lost the game. KBC striker Reghu Murmu scored both the goals in 1st half. KBC midfielder TOTTAN MONDAL awarded as man of the match….

. Do you know those women Referees? from left Sujata Palit, Sima Biswas and Krishna Das. Those women referees officiated the most high level local men's football of Burdwan, "Jougram Gallery Football-2014" where 16 men's football teams are participating and more than 10,000 football fans used to watch the month long tournament. Sima Biswas was the Referee and others two were linesman (Lineswomen ?) in the said match which successfully ended in a cool enviornment.

Those Referees officiated the till highest viewd Exhibition football match of this year's tournament between Celebrity TV stars and Ex- Indian Internationals footballers at Jougram. They were easy to organize the match but who played under them? Name - Bikas Panji, Habibur Rahaman, Tushar Rakshit, Amit Das, Hemanto Dora, Bibhas Ghosh, Moidul Islam, Avijit Roychowdhury, Bhaskar Banerjee, Debesh RoyChowdhury, Tabun Munsi, Sourab Chakrabarty like famous footballers and actors. Now the committee is thingking to officiate another high visit match of the tournament in upcoming days through those women Referees in a match of Men.

11.02.2014: Today in the 9th day of Gougram Gallery Football Tournament where Dadabhani XI faced Memary KB. Dadabhai XI of Burdwan won the match by 3-0. Dadabhai XI defender Shib Charan Murmu was awarded Man of the Match.

10.02.2014: Today in the 8th day of GALLERY FOOTBALL of Jaugram a hard fighting match played between Barahnagar Sports Club and Kohinoor KB Coaching Centre. The Full time result was 3-3. Trailing by 1-3 in half time Barahnagar SC put 2 more goals to level the scoreline with Kohinoor through a brace of John and another from Poweful. Babu score twice and Inocent scored fro Kohinoor.

Finally in the tie breaker Barahanagar SC win 4-3. Barahnagar Sports Club Peter was declared Man of the match award for two brilliant save during tie breaker.



09.02.2014 : Today more than 10,000 football fans of Jougram enjoyed the match between the Ex-Indian FootballerS and TV Serial Stars. The said exhibition match finally ended 2-2 after a tough fight. TV and Film star Bhaskar Banerjee, Sourav Chakrabarty, Abinash, Debesh Roy Chowdhury played for Ex Indian stars alongwith Bibhas Ghosh, Alok Das, Habibir Rahaman, Avijit Roy Chowdhury while Bikas Panji, Moidul Islam, amit Das, Hemonto Dora, Tushar Rakshit played with Tabun Munsi, Debu, Manta.



Ex-Indian Footballer Habibur Rahaman Mondol and Another Ex Indian defender Alok Das scored for Players side while Debu and Amit Das scored for opponents.
