Flaming Orange eased past Calangute Association with a 3-1 win at Duler Stadium. Sporting Clube de Goa took an early fifth minute lead from a corner kick where Girish Naik’s delivery was headed in by Alton Vaz. In the 33rd minute when Ganesh intercepted a back pass from a Sporting Clube de Goa player and played it towards Jovito Fernandes, who kept his composure before scoring past Ozen Silva.
In the 52nd minute, Sporting regained their lead when Marcus Mascrenhas’ goal bound cross was sent into Calangute Association’s goal by their own defender Melvin Lobo. In the dying minutes of the game, Akeraj Martins scored the team’s third goal to seal full points for his side.

Pedro Gonsalves and Gaurav Vaigankar scored in the either half respectively to seal full points for the Golden Eagles and end Sesa FA’s unbeaten run in the competition. By this win, Dempo climb to the top with 16 points from seven games. Dempo finally broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute Pedro Gonsalves headed in a Suraj Hadkonkar corner kick.

The Panjim forward who had been named as Sports Balcao forward of the month for October and November proved his worth once again for the Panjim side scoring in the either half netting in the 26th and 70th minutes respectively. At the other end, Manora scored through Md Farid. In the dying minutes of the game, Irfan sealed the game with a 89th minute matchwinner to seal full points.

Later, FC Goa scored through Aditya Salgaonkar and Vasim Inamdar scored a goal each in the 71st And 79th minutes respectively to maintain their unbeaten run in the league.

Youth Club of Manora won eight-goal thriller defeating Guardian Angels Sports Club 5-3 in the Goa Football Association Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Wednesday.
A quadruple from Md Farid scored four (9th, 21st, 37th & 70th minute) and Vijay Rathod came off the bench to register his name on the scoresheet for Manora. For Guardian Angel, they scored through Yunal Fernandes, Joaquim Abarnches and Peter Carvalho.
As GFA celebrated their 62nd anniversary on December 22, the match turned out to be a cracker as they smashed eightgoals in the 90 minutes, but Manora scored five to claim the three points. .

Vasco Sports Club defeated Sporting GOA 2-1 in the Goa Football Association U-20 Taca Goa League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Friday. Vasco SC took the lead in the 3rd minute through Jayesh Velip. Sporting Clube de Goa made it all square in the 12th minute through Richie Vaz.
The scores were level 1-1 at the break. In the second half, Joshua D’Silva put Vasco ahead in the game in the 50th minute which proved to be the match winner.

Churchill Brothers SC and Vasco Sports Club played out a 1-1 draw in the Selvel Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium Mapusa.
Churchill Brothers were awarded their first penalty but Clencio Pinto stepped up tried his luck but Luis put a strong arm and saved the spot kick which brushed the post and went out.
In the second half, Francisco Fernandes sent in a through pass to Beevan, who then cut back to Sanwil, who then made the hard work and set up Beevan for an open goal. The Vasco’s new signee scored in second consecutive game for the Port Towners after making his switch from Dempo SC.
Churchill's Afdal then once again earned a penalty for his side. However once again Luis proved his supremacy in goal and this time against Rajender Singh (Raju).
Churchill finally scored in the 85th minute and it was their defender Keenan Almeida who nodded in a cross from the flank.

Dempo Sports Club eased their way past Panjim Footballers with a 3-0 win in the Selvel Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Tuesday.
The winners led 2-0 at the break as the Gonsalves Brothers — Alber And Pedro struct in the 24th and 40th minutes respectively. Suraj Hadkonkar scripted his name on the score sheet with a goal too in the 79th minute.
But the breakthrough finally arrived for Dempo from a setpeice. Suraj sent a perfect delivery in the area which was headed in by Alber to put his side ahead in the game. It was Pedro Gonsalves who scored the second for Dempo SC with a simple tap in to guide in Darrel’s low cross, to make it 2-0.
With 10 minutes left on the clock, Dempo netted their third goal and it was a good move by Saiesh who came on as a second half substitute where he squared the ball in the area to an unmarked Suraj, who coolly put the ball at the back of the net.

In the 43rd minute, on being rewarded a free kick, Vasco’s Karan sent in a perfect free kick in the area where Beevan was in the right place at right time. The striker headed into the goal from the second post giving no chance for the rival keeper.
But Vasco SC were finally rewarded for their constant pressing as they scored their second win the 90+ minutes. Beevan D’Mello played a long ball to Savlon, who got into the area, and with just the keeper, coolly converted to make it 2-0 and seal full points for the Port Towners.

Vasco Sports Club and FC Goa played out a goalless draw in the Goa Football Association Selvel Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Saturday.
At the half hour mark, Brison forced Luis Barreto into another great save when his curling free kick nearly found the bottom right corner, however, the former FC Goa keeper divingly kept the ball out of the frame.
Luis Bareto was kept busy in the final quarter as FC Goa kept trying to find the gap from a distance. First Delton Colaco an then Britto, both tried to find the winner, but Vasco keeper easily saved the shots.

Churchill Brothers SC bounced back with a narrow 1-0 win over Panjim Footballers in the Goa Football Association Selvel Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Wednesday. Afdal scored the lone goal in the 27th minute of the game.
Churchill finally broke the deadlock with Afdal netting his first goal in the league from a perfect header. Sourav played Pushkar from the right wing and the latter sent in a delivery in the box, where Afdal nodded home to give Churchill the lead.
In the last quarter, Churchill Brothers missed a chance to inflate the tally, however, Kimron's snap shot narrowly went past the left post.

Antush Moniz scored a last-gasp winner for Salgaocar Football Club as the Greens registered a narrow 1-0 win over Dempo Sports Club in the Goa Football Association Selvel Goa Professional League. Antush scored in the 90+1st minute for the Greens.
Salgacoar FC's Akram came up with a vital interception to deflect Darell's shot for a corner. Darell had got past a couple of the Greens defenders before trying his luck.
In the final minutes, it was end to end battle, but it was finally Antush Moniz who scored the winning goal in the stoppage time when he was fed by Daryl on the right. The youngster smashed in a strong right footer which gave no chance for Dempo keeper D'Silva.
Shallum Pires nearly scored the equaliser but his glancing header from a corner hit the crossbar and went out of the play.

Ganesh Thakur scored the lone goal of the game in the 20th minute for Calangute Association.
In the 20th minute, Calvin Bareto made a fine run on the left flank before cutting back in the area to two of their players in the box, however, it was Ganesh Thakur who pounced on the ball to slam it at the back of the net to make it 1-0.

Sesa Football Academy 5-3 win over Youth Club of Manora, at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Sunday. Sesa FA started their onslaught in the 10th minute when Aman played a long delivery from his own half to Omkar. The latter controlled the ball brilliantly and fired a shot past the Manora keeper.
Sesa doubled their lead in the 22nd minute and this time it was Vishnu Gosavi, who upon entering the area saw Rizbon unmarked and floated a perfect delivery to the youngster, who nodded hime grin close-range.
Manora were totally outplayed in the first session as Sesa netted their third goal at the half hour mark. Vishnu sent in a cross from the right flank to an unmarked Myron Pereira who divinely put the ball past the keeper.
In the 36th minute Aman Rajbhar scored a solo strike after he covered some distance and beating his marker, the lad fired past helpless keeper..
Sesa further scored their fifth goal and the time they capitalised on the defensive error after YC Manora keeper Bradman Dongkarkar failed to control a back pass and Rizbin won the ball and coolly converted at the the back of the net.
Manora were better in the second half and they took just five minute to score. The goal from a set-piece. Aniston Fernandes whipped in a delivery from the right where Rajinder header past the helpers.
Manora then scored their second within minute and this time through Eldon Colaco. Joywin Carneiro was the third goal getter for Manora when he capitalised on the Sesa FA defensive mix.

Sporting Clube de Goa registered a thrilling 1-0 win over Churchill Brothers SC in the Selvel Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Saturday.
Pushing the barriers of pain, despite having an arm injury Clive Miranda came on as a second half substitute and scored a 50th minute header and then went on to defend relentlessly to ensure the side script a hard-fought narrow 1-0 win.
In the second half Sporting Clube de Goa had introduced Cliva Miranda to the game, and the player scored within moments coming on the pitch. In the 50th minute Girish Naik whipped in a perfect delivery in the area which was met by Clive, who dived low to head the ball past Churchill Brothers FC keeper Nora Fernandes.
In the 54th minute Churchill Brothers came close to scoring the leveller when Jobern played a low ball to Aaron Bareto, however, before the youngster could pull the trigger Alton Vaz blocked the effort.
At the other end Brandon Gomes tried a shot from a distance but his low grounder was off target. It was a much improvised performance in the second half from Sporting Clube de Goa as Liston, Clive and Stednly put pressure on Churchill Brothers side.

FC Goa scored a solitary goal win over Panjim Footballers in the Selvel Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Friday.
Mevan Dias scored the only goal of the game in the 18th minute to give the Gaurs their second consecutive win of the season. Meanwhile,Panjim are yet to register a win in the competition.
FC Goa broke the deadlock in the 18th minute through Mevan Dias. Deeshank whipped in a corner kick which the Panjim team failed to clear. The ball fell to Aditya Salgaocar, whose off-target shot was guided in by Mevan, who was in the right place at the right time.
In the dying minutes of the game, Delton Colaco fired a shot from outside the box, which went past the post.

Skipper Francisco Fernandes scored a brace as Vasco Sports Club registered a 4-2 win over Velsao Sports and Cultural Club in the Selvel Goa Professional League, at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Thursday. Alson Fernandes and Savlon Fernandes were the other goal getters for the winners while Sheldon Pereira and Veltio Cruz managed to script their names on the score sheet for Velsao.
Velsao SCC broke the deadlock in the 34th minute through Sheldon Pereira. Velito's freekick from outside the box was cleared by VAsco SC's Kuldeep but the ball fell to Sheldon, who slammed a first time shot past Vasco SC keeper Luis Bareto.
Vasco SC came back strongly in the second half. There were attacking chances coming thick and fast for the Port Towners and they made it all square in the 52nd minute they got the equaliser from a set-piece. Francisco Fernandes sent in another fine delivery from the flag kick, which was headed in by unmarked Alson Fernandes.
In the 58th minute, Vasco took the lead with a goal from Francisco Fernandes. Cavin played to Savlon Fernandes on the flank, and the youngster ran down the by-line and played a cutback pass to Francisco, who kept his composure and calmly slotted in the bottom corner, 2-1.
The lead lasted just for four minutes as Velsao made it all square from a set-piece. Neville Alburquerque fouled Ronil with a rash tackle outside the box prompting the referee to award a free-kick and also flash yellow to Neville. Velito Cruz curled the resultant freekick in the bottom left corner.
James Fernandes was wasteful for Velsao as the striker missed two sitters. First he headed wide with just the keeper at his sight and then all he had to do was tap in but he failed to do so.
At the other end, Vasco punished them for wasting their chances as Savlon Fernandes scored a stunning goal from the edge of the box giving no chance for Jeet.
Vasco scored their fourth in the 81st minute when Cavin Lobo spotted Francisco Fernandes run in the area, and the latter scored with a fine finish.

Salgaocar Football Club registered a solitary goal win over Calangute Association in the Goa Football Association Selvel Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Wednesday. The Greens' Daryl Costa scored the lone goal of the game in the 33rd minute to hand his side the first three points off the season.
Salgaocar Football Club finally managed to break the deadlock at the half hour mark. Daryl Costa was played with a long ball from the midfield and the striker lobbed the ball over the onrushing keeper from outside the box. The keeper and Calangute defence should have done better considering the style of play indulged by The Greens. Umesh Pujar, the defender of Calangute was outstanding in the first half.

Sporting Clube de Goa were held to a goalless draw against Guardian Angel Sports Club in the Goa Football Association Selvel Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Tuesday.
Sporting Clube de Goa missed a glorious chance to take the lead. With Guardian Angel playing a high defence line, Rohit Totad played a defence splitting through pass to Rio Fernandes, the youngster lacked confidence in front of the goal as with just the keeper at his sight, he poorly shot straight on him.
Sporting Clube's defence stayed compact making it difficult for Guardian Angel to get into the area. The duo of Clive Miranda and Joel Colaco forced Guardian Angel to resort to long range shots. But their youngster Gopinath Gad used his creativity to get into the area, but lacked support from teammates.

Dempo Sports Club scripted a hard-fought 1-0 win over Velsao Sports and Cultural Club, in the Selvel Goa Professional League, at Duler Stadium, Mapusa. Velanco Rodrigues scored the lone goal of the game in the 85th minute for the Golden Eagles.
Velsao just couldn't get the goal and they had their shot saved off the line in the 75th minute when Cajetan Fernandes played Chadel through on goal on the right and the with the keeper rushing out, the lad sent in a low cross pass to an unmarked Ronil, whose shot was cleared off the goalline by the Dempo SC defender.
Necio had a shot attempted which was offtarget in the final 10 minutes of the game and Dempo SC finally broke the deadlock in the 85th minute when a low cross from the left found U-20 player Velanco Rodrigues, who made no mistake to shot past the onrushing keeper.

24/10/2021: PANJIM FOOTBALLERS 0-0 SESA FA
Panjim Footballers earned their first point of the season following their goalless draw against Sesa Football Academy in the Goa Football Association Selvel Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa.
Meanwhile, Sesa FA are unbeaten in the competition after recording their successive draw in the competition after their last minute equalising draw against Salgaocar FC in the first match. In the 36th minute, Panjim Footballers Chandan skipped past Sesa defenders on the byline and cut back a pass to Irfan at the near post, but the latter’s poor shot was blocked by the Sesa FA defence line.
In the 49th minute, Sesa FA’s Domnic managed to win the ball using his physical prowess, however, Preston Rego left his guard to collect the ball in time before the Academy player could pounce on the the ball. In the 58th minute, Sesa FA’s Shridharnath Gawas tried his luck from outside the box, but his shot went over the bar.

Vasco Sports Club held Sporting Clube de Goa in an entertaining 1-1 draw in the Goa Football Association Selvel Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Saturday. Akeraj Martins had given Sporting Clube de Goa the lead in the 85th minute however, Joston Cardoz made it all square from the spot kick in the 88th minute for Vasco SC.
In the 85th minute, Sporting Clube de Goa broke the deadlock and it was a brilliant play from he Flaming Oranje, Stendly played Myron on the far right and the second half substitute found Akeraj Martins upfront. Despite being marked, Martins fired home from a distance.
Vasco SC were awarded a penalty in the dying minutes of the game when Joston Cardozo was brought down in the box by Girish Naik. Joston himself took the kick and converted to make it 1-1.
Vasco’s Karan Shirdokar was sent off for his stud up challenge on Rohit Totad.

Churchill Brothers scored a resounding 4-0 win over Youth Club of Manora in the Selvel Goa Football Association Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Friday. Saurav Mandal scored a brace for the winning team and Aaron Bareto and Quan Gomes were the other goal scorers for the winning team.
After making their intent clear with a pressing game, Churchill Brothers finally broke the deadlock in the 19th minute when Afdal Varikkodan played a sublime through pass to Aaron, who this time kept his composure as he slotted past the onrushing Manora custodian Brodman Dorgarkar.
Churchill Brothers FC doubled the score when Quan Gomes sent in a cross at the far post to Saurav, who perfectly nodded home from inside the box. The Red Machines enjoyed a 2-0 lead at the break.
The Red Machines were totally dominant in the game as Aaron and Saurav created plenty of chances in the game. And after continuous pressing, the Red Machines further inflated the tally and it was Saurav once again for Churchill Brothers. Quan Gomes whipped in another of his curling corner kick wherein the unmarked Saurav comfortably scored his brace. Quan Gomes scored the fourth in the 72nd minute with a direct free kick.
21/10/2021: SALGAOCAR SPORTS CLUB 1-1 SESA FA

Sesa FA scored a 90+5th minute equaliser through Vishnu Gosavi as the academy side held Salgaocar FC to a 1-1 draw in the Selvel Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Thursday. For Salgaocar FC, it was Saeesh Halarnkar who scored the goal in the 66th minute.
In the 26th minute, Salgaocar had an opportunity to test the keeper as they were awarded a free-kick just outside the box when Dhurvesh brought down Shubham. Sidharth Kundaikar curled in a perfect free-kick which received an equal answer from the Sesa keeper Roanal Gaunkar.
Nothing changed in the second half. Sesa kept on pressing for the goal but it was Salgaocar FC who managed to score the first goal of the game in the 66th minute. Umang Gaikwad sent a perfect delivery in the area to an unmarked Saeesh, whose shot deflected off a Sesa player and entered the goal.
After their continuous efforts, Sesa FA's efforts were rewarded with a 90+5th minute equaliser. Substitute Mohammed Faheez whipped in a cross in the area which was guided in by Vishnu to steal the points from Salgaocar FC.

Goals from Francisco Fernandes and Chirag Mardolkar ensured full points for Vasco Sports Club as they began their Goa Football Association Selvel Goa Professional League campaign with a 2-1 win over Guardian Angel SC at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Wednesday.
Guardian Angel SC were off to a dream start as they scored in the third minute through Gopi Raghunath Gad. The lad came from the right flank in the central area and struck a powerful shot which had no answer from Luis Barreto.
At the half hour mark they managed to get what they lacked –the final touch. A long cross from the left flank by a Vasco midfielder Bersal Viegas found Chirag Mardolkar who made no mistake to tap the ball home past the Guardian Angel keeper Oswin Rodrigues, 1-1.
Vasco SC scored from a counter attack wherein Francisco Fernandes placed the ball past the Guardian Angel keeper from outside the box.

FC Goa grabbed full points against Velsao Sports and Cultural Club with a 2-0 win in the Goa Football Association Selvel Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Tuesday. Jovial Dias and Mevan Dias scored for the Gaurs in the either half to ensure the Gaurs begin their Goa Pro League campaign with a win.
With Velsao missing the chances, FC Goa struck with a brilliant goal. Jovial Dias scored a stunner in the 27th minute to send his team ahead in the game. Ivon Costa winning the ball in the midfield played it to Jovial, who danced his way past couple of Velsao SCC players before pulling the trigger from 35-years out. Velsao keeper got his hand to the shot, but couldn't keep the ball out from the goal.
The second half was lively yet there weren't as many chances created as compared to the first half. FC Goa had the chance to double the lead in the 53rd minute but his looping header from a free-kick hit the post. However, his teammate Jovial was quick to respond to the rebound but he shot wide.
FC Goa finally sealed the game in the second half injury time though Mevan to collect full points for his side.

Dempo Sports Club and Churchill Brothers SC played out a goalless draw in the Goa Football Association Selvel Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Monday. Quan Gomes almost gave Churchill Brothers SC a dream start when his side were awarded a free kick just outside the box. The midfielder's curling free-kick, which beat the wall and the keeper, hit the crossbar and came back into the play.
At the other end, Edwin Viegas had the opportunity to nod in the ball from a Suraj Hadkonkar's freekick, however, the defender headed it over the bar from the face of the goal. However, it was flagged offside. In the 52nd minute Dempo SC missed a glorious chance to take the lead when Aman Govekar missed a chance from inside the box. At the other end, Dempo keeper Dylan D'silva was there at the right place as Churchill Brothers' Vinil Poojary's shot from the left was easily swallowed by the keeper.
In the 70th minute, Suraj ran down on the right flank and drilled a low cross to Velanco Rodrigues, however, with just the keeper at his mercy from within five yards from goal, the second half substitute hit his shot over the bar. In the 84th minute, Dempo SC nearly struck the winner when Churchill Brothers defence allowed a lot of room and space for the Golden Eagles' Necio Fernandes whose long range shot nearly missed the side post.

Youth Club of Manora recorded a narrow 1-0 win over Calangute Association in the Goa Football Association Selvel Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Sunday. Sweden Barbosa scored the lone goal of the game in the 13th minute which was enough for Manora to seal full points.
Youth Club of Manora take long for them to take the lead when in the 13th minute Nicklas Noronha ran down the right flank and sent a powerful low shot which was eventually blocked by the keeper Paramveer Singh, however, Sweden was there in the right place to pounce on the lose ball to score home from close range to make it 1-0.

Sporting Clube de Goa enjoyed a perfect start in the Goa Football Association Selves Goa Professional League following their 3-1 win over Panjim Footballers at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Saturday. Clive Miranda (6'), Rohit Total (20') and Akeraj Martins (48') scored for the Flaming Oranje while Irfan Yadwad (53') reduced the deficit for the Panjim side.
Sporting Clube de Goa took just six minutes to take the lead as it was Clive Miranda. Girish Naik’s corner was headed in the frame by Marcus Mascarenhas, which was blocked by Panjim Footballers keeper Preston Rego, however, Clive Miranda was quick to poke the ball behind the net off the rebound, 1-0.
Sporting Clube de Goa doubled the tally in the 20th minute. Sporting’s Dattaraj Gaonkar tried his luck with a low grounder from outside the box, but his off-target shot was stopped by his teammate Rohit Totad and placed past Preston. Panjim players claimed for an offside, but the youngster was fairly on, beating his marker, 2-0.
Sporting Clube didn’t allow Panjim to settle after restart as they scored their third in the 48th minute. Rio Fernandes challenged a Panjim player and sent the ball to Akeraj Martins, who dribbled past three Panjim defenders and slotted home to make it 3-0.
In the 53rd minute, a defensive error from Girish Naik saw Irfan get the ball outside the box. The lanky striker fought his way into the box and slammed in the top right corner giving no chance for keeper Ozen Silva.
