It was a set back for the league leaders Bangaluru FC as they faced their second defeat in Shillong today. Bangaluru had a defeat against the Rangdajied few weeks back and today Shillong Lazong crashed Bangaluru by a clear margin of 3-0 . The difference between Bangaluru and Salgaokar are only of three points and it seems now that the I-League will showcase a lot of drama at it's closing stages.

In fact Shillong Lazong had an important win today as they opened their scoring at the 46 th minute which was sealed at the added time of the match.

Bangaluru had their dominance in the first session when they had their chances of converting. But the opportunites were waisted by ShenbRooney and Beikhokhei Beingaichho. Lazong had some opening when JohnnybMenyongar shoots wide over the bar.

Lajong scored their first goal inbthe 46th minute when Uilliams slipped between John Johnson and Vishal Kumar to tap home Glenn's cross from the right. Having set up thebfirst, Glenn went on to score himself after he hung on to a throughbball and finished perfectly in the 82nd minute. Lazong scored their their third goal at the added time when Tuboi was tripped from behindbby Oseano and Glenn coverted a spot kick.

Bangaluru are still in the top of the table with 37 points from 20 matches while Lazong are at the 29 points are ranked fifth in the league table.

Mohan Bagan started to attack right from the beginning and controlled the midfeild and the attacking third playing a lots of positive passes. Odafa was the speerhead of the attack while Katsumi marshalling the midfeild. Mohan Bagan increased the lead in the second session utilising the defensive lapse of the Sporting defense. A lob from Pankaj Moulla was netted by Christofer when the Sporting defense failed to follow the flight of the ball. Odafa's last goal was a gift by the Sporting goal keeper Ravi Kumar when he failed to grab the flight and the on rushing Nizerian srtiker placed the ball in the vcant goal.

Sporting sensed an opportunity when Rowllin Borges's stunning volley crashed into the net to make it 1-2 in the 78th minute. With this win Mohan Bagan are at 24 points from 21 matches will going to meet the league leaders Bangaluru FC in the next match at Kolkata.
