Delhi Public School, Noida entered in the semi-finals of the 3rd A.R. Khan Memorial Inter-School Football Tournament after beating last year's runners-up Father Agnel Public School, Noida by 6-4 via tie-breaker session. After regulation period, both teams tied-up 2-2.

Father Agnel were 2-0 up upto 14th mintue of the proceedings. Albert opened score 1-0 in 10th minte while Advert increased it to 2-0 in 14th mintue.

DPS's Yash reduced the score 1-2 in 19th mintue while Kuber equalised 2-2 in 65th mintue. In the tie-breaker session, Kartikey, Ragav, Ahiraj andKuberwerethe successful converters for DPS, Noida. Father Agnel's Ricki and Albert converted the spot-kicks.

Earlier, Moti Lal Sports School, Rai defeated Modern School, Vasant Vihar by a solitry goal to move to the qrs-finals. Anuragh Chauhan ciinched the match winner.

PRESS RELEASE Kolkata GOALZ) : The British Council, the Premier League and all its partners are delighted to invite you to the launch of the Kolkata Goalz Cup 2013 tournament at 10.30 a.m. on Friday 26 April 2013 at the Police Athletic Club ground in the Maidan.

Mr Surajit Kar Purkayastha, IPS, Commissioner of Police will launch the Cup in the presence of senior officials from the British Council, Kolkata Police, Kolkata Municipal Corporation, the Football Federations and the participating Clubs. Premier League trainers Rubel Ahmed and Craig Bell will also be present.

The fixtures for the matches on 26 April 2013 are as below:

26.04.2013: U-14 Final : Match between Mohun Bagan Goalz team V/S East Bengal Goalz team

Kolkata Goalz is a Premier Skills project, developed from the successful model in the UK known as Kickz, a community cohesion project that builds barriers between young people in high deprivation areas and the local authorities through sport.

Over the last two years Kolkata Goalz has been operational in 12 venues across Kolkata (four having just been added), covering 24 police station jurisdictions and reaching out to 600+ (12-18 years) young people involved in weekly football training sessions, drawing and cultural programmes. Additional club activities for the participants range from local health awareness campaigns, extra English teaching (delivered by the British Council) and participating in tournaments.

The project is led by the Premier League and the British Council, in association with the Kolkata Police, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, All India Football Federation and Indian Football Association (West Bengal) and delivered by nine India Premier League Clubs

The tournament involves youngsters trained under Kolkata Goalz. The league matches will continue from 26 April to 29 June. The semi-finals will be played on 2 and 3 July, culminating in the final on 6 July 2013.

Defending champions-Sanskriti School, Chanakayapuri and Delhi Public School, Noida moved to the qrs- finals of the 3rd A.R. Khan Memorial Inter- School Football; Tournament - 2013 being held at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium here today. In the 1st match, DPS, Noida defeated Govt. Boys Sr. Sec. School, Jafarabad 4-1 to enter in qrs- finals. Somin put DPS 1-0 ahead in 13th mintue, Govt. School's Shoab levelled score 1-1 in 40th mintue. Kuber made it 2-1 in 49th mintue. Kartikaya increased score 3-1 in 50th mintue while Raghav completed tally 4-1 in 51st mintue. DPS Noida meets last year's runners-up Father Agnel School in qrs-finals on April 26. Raghav was adjudged man of the match.

' Later on, defending champions-Sanskriti School started their campaign in style to beat Modern School, Barakhamba 3- 0 to face Ryan Public School, Noida in qrs- final on April 27.

Scorers for winners were Kshitij (20th mintue ), Sourya Reddy (28th mintue ) and Neelansh Mittra (59th mintue ).Sourya reddy received man of the match award.
