The last years runners up Prayag United will start their campaign in the IFA Shield tomorrow at the Kanchenjunga Kriangan, Siliguri. Prayag united lost to East Bengal in tie breaker after a strong fight of 120 minutes. On the contrary Pailan Arrows will play their second match in their maiden appearance after they lost their first match by a solitary goal against the red and gold brigade.

Prayag united will definitely enjoy the advantage of their foreigners. The Prayag attacking force will depend mainly on Ranty Martins who is among the goals, and had successfully delivered his duties through out the season. Carlos Hernandez after a long absence joined the team and will be positioned as a withdrawal forward.

This world cupper is successful enough in implementing the dead ball situations time and again. The Prayag deep defense will lead by Belo Razak and the experienced Dipak Mondal. In fact Dipak is the key man in this Indian purple brigade, who has guided the team from the back. His contribution has also been appreciated by the Prayag coach Elco Satorie.

The development team of the AIFF, Pailan Arrows will play their second league match. This is a must win situation for them as they had lost their first match. It may be be mentioned that they must concentrate on football in the turf rather then concentrating on the physical activities. The team has got potential and has proved themselves in several outings.

The ground condition of Siliguri is not up to the mark.We have seen uneven bounces in the last match which had created problems for the footballers to control the ball. The IFA at last find out a new team in Group A as ONGC today has confirmed their participation. It is likely that Santosh Kasyap and his team will reach Siliguri tomorrow.
