East Bengal has earned three points in their 7th Super nine match against the Prayag United which is scheduled on the 21st of May. Today the United Sports intimated the IFA regarding their inability to participate.IFA has awarded 3 points to East Bengal who are at 21 points from 7 matches and are leading the league table.

While Mohun Bagan are on 19 points from the same number of outings before the awaited Derby match on the 23rd evening at the Yubabharati Kriangan.

East Bengal need only a draw to win the league tittle for the 34th time and are in front of a history.If Red and Gold win the tittle then it will be their third win in a row in Trevor Morgan's era. But it is a must win situation for the Mariners to win the tittle.Incidentally Mohun Bagan are without a major trophy and this will be their last chance to grab the given opportunity.

THis will be the 2nd time Walk Over of United SC against East Bengal in the CFL Premier League 2012/13. 2 times in a single season. In the Preliminary Round of this year Premier League on 15th January 2013 United SC gave walk Over to East Bengal.

Mr M.B.Santosh Kumar the AIFF recognized professional referee from Kerala will be in charge of the Derby Match.He will be assisted by the line officials from the C.R.A.,but the names are yet to be finalized.. East Bengal then will be leading the league table with 21 points before the Derby match against Arch rival Mohun Bagan on 23rd evening at Salt Lake.

AIFF PRESS RELEASE : High on confidence after notching up a double against Bahrain over two International Friendlies in the latter's own backyard, the Indian Women's Senior National Team reached Ramallah, located in central West Bank, Palestine for the their AFC Women's Asian Cup (Qualifiers) starting Tuesday (May 21, 2013) amidst rousing reception.

The 23-member Squad and officials reached the picturesque West Asian country on Sunday afternoon. A large posse of local journalists and photographers mobbed the Team upon their arrival. There was also a decent crowd gathering to watch the SAFF Champions.

'Palestine is a beautiful place and we are overwhelmed by such warm reception. We hope to play good football here and qualify for the Finals. We had two decent games in Bahrain and the girls are motivated. It is a tough Group, one that can be called the Group of Death. We have to put our best foot forward. It is serious business from here on,' National Coach Anadi Barua told reporters here.

This is the most important tournament for us. If we play to our potential we can definitely be that one Team to progress to the next level,' India Captain Tuli Goon opined.

Midfielder Amoolya Kamal added: 'I feel o proud. We are greeted wonderfully here. Palestine seems a lovely place. At the same time I also feel responsible. The country is pinning their hopes on us. We have to do it for them. This is the most important tournament for us. The wins against Bahrain helped and we are looking forward to carry forward the momentum.'

India open their account against Myanmar on Tuesday followed by Chinese Taipei on Thursday (May 23) and the hosts Palestine on Saturday (May 25).

India are in Group D.

The football calender for the year 2012-13 will drop it's curtain on the 23rd of May. The all important derby clash between the two arch rivals of Kolkata between East Bengal and Mohun Bagan, to bag the crown of the CFL Premier League will be kicked of at the Yubabharati Kriaangan at 5.00 pm after revised schedule of IFA. The fate of the match will be decided on reschedule match on 19th may match between Mohun Bagan and United SC which abandoned on 17th after a goalless upto 79 minute.

...IFA has decided to print more than 80 thousands ticket for the match. The tickets are expected to sell from the counters of East Bengal, Mohun Bagan and from the IFA office like past may be from 20th of May which will be ranged between Rs 70 - Rs 200.

General: RS 70/- ( Gate No 2,3,4 and the lower and upper tier of Gate No 1 and 5).
VIP Lower Tier: Rs 100/-
VIP Middle Tier: Rs 120/-
VIP M Middle Tier - Rs 150/-
Dignitary - Rs 200/-
East Bengal members and supporters will enter the stadium through Gates No 1,2,3, while the Mohun Bagan fans will enter through Gates 3,4,5.

VIP L Block will be under the control of the red and gold while VIP R will be for the Mohun Bagan supporters.

Apart from the Derby another important matche is scheduled to decide the fate of the CFL Premier League between East Bengal and United Sports Club on the 21st of May at Kalyani Stadium.

Kankurgachi yuva Sangha won the 11th Krishanu Dey Memorial All Bengal Nursery Football Tournament held at Nabayatri Sangha Math (dagar math), Jadavpur today. In the tough final Kankurgachi beat Bandel Banichakra 7-5. In the occasion the organiser felicitated two top ex-indian footballers Manas Bhattacharyya and Bidesh Bose. To inspire the sub jr. boys Pone Dey (Wife of late Krisanu Dey), AIFF vice President Subrata Dutta and State Govt Minister Manish Gupta were present.

In this league 26 First Divn Clubs are divided into six groups and the top two teams of each group will qualify to Super League stage of League. So there will be 12 clubs in the Super League and these 12 Clubs will be divided into two groups .The top two teams of each group will qualify to Semi Final.

The Champion team of FAO 1 Rs 1,00,000=00(One Lakh Rupees only) and the runner up team will be awarded with Rs 50,000=00(Rupees Fifty Thousand Only).
