AIFF PRESS RELEASE : World Football Governing Body FIFA approved four Referee courses for Further Development for the referees of India. Today in a meeting at Football house at Delhi organised by All India Football Federation's Referee's Committee chaired by Mr. Amit Ranjan Dev announced it.

In the meeting AIFF General Secretary Kushal Das, ex- Indian referees and Match commissioners like Mr. Pradip Nag, Mr. Gulab Singh Chauhan, Mr. Mrinal Kanti Roy, Mr. Ravishankar J, Mr. Inayatullah Khan and Col (Retd) Goutam Kar, Head of Referees Department, AIFF were present in the Meeting. The Committee also congratulated Mr. S Suresh for having been selected as AFC Referees Instructor. The Committee also appreciated FIFA's approval for four Courses for further development of Indian Referees.

FIFA/MA Course for Referees
FIFA/MA Course for Assistant Referees
FIFA/MA Course for RA/RI
FIFA/MA Course for Women Referees would be held in 2014.

Chairman of the Meeting Mr. Amit Ranjan Dev told that the course will be an unique orrortunity for the Indian Referees to upgrade themselves. The Committee also stressed on 'Integrity in Sports' and stressed that all Referees and other Officials should be protected from bribery and/or other match manipulation offences. 'Recognise, Resist and Report,' should be followed'.'

The Committee unanimously decided the evaluation process for all Referee Educators must continue to ensure quality control which can be enhanced by everyone's services.The Committee also endorsed the introduction of Yoga in Referee's Training, especially in the training methods of the Federation Cup.

AIFF PRESS RELEASE : All India Football Federation's second AFC A-License Course of the Year is presently underway in Goa. The Course which kicked-off on May 5 will continue will May 27. AFC Instructor Mr. Vincent Subramanium from Singapore will conduct the first phase of the Course till May 19 while the next phase would be conducted by Mr. Lim Kim Chon from Malaysia from 18 onwards.

The Course, being jointly organised by the Goa Football Association and the AIFF is being held at the Jawarharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda. While the theoretical sessions are being held at the Conference Room of the Stadium, the Stadium turf plays host to practical sessions which are being held both in the morning and the afternoon.

 Tarun Roy has been selected AFC  AIFF PRESS RELEASE : The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has intimated to the former India international footballer and AFC 'A' licence holder Tarun Roy that he has been been selected to assist in upcoming AFC C-Certificate courses this year.

He may wish to choose the courses he wants to assist in depending on location and availability however during his time in the courses, he will be assessed by the instructor on whether he is ready to conduct a course by himself.

To be recognized as an AFC C Certificate Instructor, he will be required to actively assist in two AFC C Certificate Courses. Mr. Roy will be assessed during the courses by the Head Instructor. Please find attached the Coaching Calendar for 2014 and accordingly make his decision and inform AIFF at least 1 month before the start of the course.
