The appeal petitions of four Clubs - Mohammedan Sporting, United SC, Churchill Brothers and Rangdajied United assessed today by All India Football Federation (AIFF) Club Licensing Appeals Committee which met today at the Football House.

It has been leatn from a source, that the appeal application of Churchill Brothers, Rangdajied UFC, Mohammedan SC's and United SC were not upto the mark and rejected and the committee has been decided not issue the AFC and National Licence to the those Clubs for the Football Season 2014-15..

FIFA WORLD CUP WARM-UP MATCH : Japan beat Costa Rica

Yasuhito Endo, Shinji Kagawa and Yoichiro Kakitani scored second-half goals on Monday to help Japan's Victory against South American Team Costa Rica in the warm up at the Raymond James stadium in Tampa, Florida just ahead of FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The Dutch side PSV striker captain Bryan Ruiz of Costa Rica scored first in 31st minute when he got the ball from jr. Diaz and beat Japan defender Yasuyuki Konno in the Japan box and his shot went back to Japan Net. 1-0. Upto the half time it was 1-0 for Costa Rica.

In the 2nd half of the match, Japan attacked more and more to Costa Rican defence and equalized in 60th minute through veteran midfielder Yasuhito Endo of Gamba Osaka when he got the pass from Japan captain Kwasaki Honda. 1-1.

In 80th minutes, Manchester United Star Shinji Kagawa stumbled as the ball came to him near to the penalty area and his prompt right-footed shot past Costa Rica goalkeeper Keilor Navas to give Japan a 2-1 lead.

Japan scored the last one in injury time of 2nd half when Shinji Kagawa crossed a ball from left and Yoichiro Kakitani made no mistake to slid it into the bottom corner of the Costa Rican goal. 3-1.
