30.9.20: 31 year old Spanish midfielder Javi Hernandez extends his stay with ATK Mohun Bagan for one more year until 2021 ahead of the upcoming season.

Spanish midfielder Javi joined ATK last year and played 20 matches for them in Indian Super League. In his 1635 minutes playe he scored 2 goals and made 5 assists. he made 730 passes, 38 shots, 27 crosses. He also made 87 tackles, 33 interceptions, 24 blocks and 18 clearances.

30.9.20: Hyderabad FC have extended the contracts of youngsters Anuj Kumar and Nikhil Prabhu for 3 years until 2022-23 ahead of the upcoming season.

After adding two youngstar Lalawmpuia (20) and Sweden Fernandes (20) recently, Hyderabad FC now confirmed two more young stars Nikhil (19) and Anuj (22).

Goalkeeper Anuj joined Hyderabad FC last season, later played for Indian Arrows on loan in last season's I-League. Mumbai U-16s captain defender Anuj joined Hyderabad FC last season, played for reserve side in 2nd Division League. “I am very excited to be a part of the project at HFC with a lot of good Indian young players at its core. I hope I can remain at the club for years to come and it is now time for me to repay the faith that the club has shown in my abilities,” added Anuj in club media.

30.9.20: NorthEast United today announced the signing of I-League winning striker of Mohun Bagan, V P Suhair ahead of the upcoming season.
In last season Suhair scored 2 goals with 2 assists in his 16 appearances in the I-League with Mohun Bagan.
Starting his footballer career from State Bank of Travancore’s football team, he played brilliantly in Kerala Santosh Trophy Team. After this impressive spell he played for United SC in CFL Premier, he played for some top clubs like Gokulam Kerala FC, East Bengal and Mohun Bagan.

“I am very excited to be a part of the Highlanders family and play in the Indian Super League. There will be a lot to learn from Head Coach Gerard Nus and Coach Khalid Jamil, and I cannot wait to join the rest of the squad for pre-season,” Suhair said in club media after signing his contract.

EAST BENGAL WILL TRANSFER SPORTING RIGHTS TO NEW INVESTOR


29.9.20: East Bengal club will transfer 76% of their share as well as Sporting Rights of the club to Shree Cement East Bengal Foundation. This was declared in a General Body Meeting at the club premises today. East Bengal tied up with Sree Cement Private Limited as their new investor and the necessary process are to made shortly.

East Bengal will finalise and declare the name of their new Head coach within a day or two. The investors are in discussion with some of the short listed coaches.

26.9.20: Sudeva FC signed 28 year old Indian Winger Kean Lewis ahead of the upcoming season.

28 year old joined after 2 year's spell with Indian Super League side Bengaluru FC. Playing several youth sides in clubs like Houston Dynamo, Fairleigh Dickinson Knights, Laredo Heat, PIFA, Mahindra United, Tata Football Academy, he started his professional career from Mohun Bagan. Later he played for several Indian Super League side Dekhi Dynamos, FC Pune City before joining Bengaluru FC.

26.9.20: ATK Mohun Bagan officially announces the signing of Sandesh Jhingan, the tower of srength in Indian central defense. ATK Mohun Bagan were in discussion with Sandesh since his departure from Kerala Blasters FC. Sandesh was searching for a team in abroad and were also in discussion with the other ISL franchisees. But finally ATK Mohun Bagan wins the race in the final lap when Sandesh agreed to close the deal with the newly merged Kolkata club.

Sandesh Jhingan recived the Arjuna Award this year, signed a five years deal with the Kolkata gaint, can be reckoned as the most expensive Indian footballer ever since. Sandesh, who was a product of St Stephens Academy ,started his journey from United Sikkim FC in 2011 proved himself as the most reliable central defender of the country within a very short span.

The 27 years Indian central defender joined Kerala Blasters Fc in 2014 where he was associated till 2019. He was declared as "Emerging Player of the League" in the year 2014 by his consistent performance. Jhingan's international debut for India was against Nepal in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

26.09.20 : I-League Qualifier team FC Bengaluru United confirmed two more player on Friday, goalkeeper Ahmed Asfar and striker Ishan Dey ahead of the upcoming season.

Goalkeeper Ahmed Asfar played for FC Kerala. He has also been part of the Santosh Trophy squad for Kerala.

26.09.20 : FC Goa announced the signing of Australian defender James Donachie on a one-year loan deal from A-League side Newcastle Jets.

27 year old defender Donachie is the three times A-League champion with Brisbane Roar 2011-12, 2013-14 and with Melbourne Victory in 2017-18 season. He also played for AFC Champions League in five different seasons including consecutive last three seasons.

Brisbane Roar youth product Donachie won Australia’s Youth League Player of the Year for two consecutive seasons in 2010-11 and 2011-12. He played several A-League clubs like Brisbane Roar, Melbourne Victory, Newcastle Jets. He also spend short spell in K-League side Jeonnam Dragons in 2018.

He won Melbourne Victory club’s Players’ Player of the Season award for his performances in 2019-20. Earlier this year he signed for Newcastle Jets for 3 year deal.

Donachie told in club media, “I am thrilled to be coming to Goa and India. This should be a great opportunity and challenge for me. Starting his coaching journey with Shillong Lajong as a assistant coach in 2009, he promoted to head coach in 2013. Later he worked as assistant coach and Technical director of youth team in various Indian Super League sides like NorthEast United, Kerala Blasters, Odisha FC.

25.09.20 : Gokulam Kerala FC have signed experienced defender Rowilson Rodrigues. Two time I-League champion with Churchill Brothers and Dempo SC, Rowlinson have won many trophies like Durand Cup, IFA Shield with various clubs.

Starting his football career from SESA FA, Rowilson joined Churchill Brothers, where he won Durand Cup in 2007, I-League in 2008-09 season, as well as he played AFC Cup for Churchill Brothers. In 2011, Rowilson joined Dempo SC and won I-League once again in this season. 33 year old defender also played for Mohun Bagan and later moved to FC Goa and Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League.

22.9.20 : Sudeva FC announced Bhutanese AFC A Licence Holder Coach Chencho Dorji as the new head coach in their maiden I-League campaign.

Coach Chencho Dorji worked 12 years under the Bhutan Football Federation. He was the head coach of Bhutan junior teams for SAFF U-19 (Nepal), U-16 (Sri Lanka and Japan), and U-16 AFC qualification (Iran). 30 year old 6'6" tall defender will be the first Bosnian to feature in the Indian Super League. Youth ranks of FK Željezničar in Sarajevo, Enes spent six years at Oțelul Galați in Romania and won Romanian top division championship. 35-year-old forward signs from Spanish Segunda Division side Alcorcon, and becomes the sixth new foreign signing of Hyderabad FC this season. Starting his career from his hometown side CD Toledo, he played for several top clubs. He played for Scottish Premier League side Dundee United in 2008 where he claimed a Scottish FA Cup trophy. He played for several top clubs like Leganes, Rangers FC, Brighton and Hove Albion, Girona.

10.9.20: Nigerian Football Team International, Stephen Eze, has put pen to paper for Jamshedpur FC to become club’s sixth foreign signing.

The 26-year-old is a current Nigerian National Team player, having represented them 13 times since his debut in 2016. He was named in Nigeria’s preliminary 30-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, but did not make it to the final 23.He player all 6 gaes when Nigeria finished as runner-up in the African Nations Cup 2018. 3.9.20: Hyderabad FC have completed the signing of Australian attacker Joel Chianese ahead of the upcoming season of the Indian Super League today. 30 year year striker signed for one year deal to become first Australian to join Hyderabad FC. Starting his professional career with Blacktown City FC, he moved to Syndey FC. After 3 year's spell he move to clubs like Sydney United and Bonnyrigg White Eagles in the National Premier League. Later he moved to Malyasia, Sabah FA (2015) and Negeri Sembilan FA (2016) netting a staggering 17 goals in 29 league appearances in the Super League. Later he moved to Australia again with Perth Glory in 2016, guiding them to the top of the league in 2018-19 season.

JAMSHEDPUR FC SIGNED DINLIANA


3.9.20: Laldinliana Renthlei signs for Jamshedpur FC on a 3-year deal until 2023.
22 year full back started his professional career from Mizoram Premier League side Chhinga Veng FC. He was adjudged as the best defender of the Mizoram Premier League 2017-18 season, later he joined Aizawl FC on loan where he made 24 appearances in I-League and AFC Cup. In 2018, Dinliana was signed by Chennaiyin FC and made 34 appearances across two seasons where Chennaiyin FC finished as runners-up in Super Cup and Indian Super League.
Laldinliana Renthlei signs for Jamshedpur FC on a 3-year deal until 2023 In his last two season in ISL he made 22 appearances, where in his 1772 minutes he made 654 passes, 104 clearances, 20 interceptions.
On completion of the move, Dinliana told in club media, “It’s a privilege to have signed for a club like Jamshedpur which has all the avenues conducive for a player like me to exhibit my true potential. This move is a perfect fit especially with Owen Coyle at the helm. I had a great outing with him last year and I am hungry to perform. 2.9.20: Odisha FC today announced the signing of Brazilian footballer Marcelo Leite Pereira a.k.a Marcelinho ahead of the seventh edition of the Hero Indian Super League on an one year deal. All time 3rd highest goal-scorer of ISL, Golden Boot winner in the 2016 Marcelinho started his ISL career from Delhi Dynamos, later he played for FC Pune City, Hyderabad FC. In his 4 season he played 63 matches so far, where in his 5353 minutes, he scored 31 goals with 18 assists so far. He made 2087 passes so far and 194 shots and 161 crosses.

2.9.20: Kerala Blasters announced Argentine atacing midfielder Facundo Abel Pereyra as the first foreign signing for the upcoming season of the Hero Indian Super League. Starting his youth career from Estudiantes De Buenos Aires in 2006, he started his professional career from Palestino, a Chilean football club. Later he played various clubs in Chile, Mexico and Argentina. His first move outside America was on 2014, when he joined Greek side PAOK. In last two season he joined another European side, Cypriot club Apollon Limassol.
