30.09.24: The defending champion Mohun Bagan Super Giant are in front of yet another Durand Cup triumph. The Mariners are in front of North East United FC in the final of the 133rd Durand Cup final at Kolkata on Saturday evening.
Mohun Bagan SG won against Bengaluru FC in the semifinal by a margin of 4-3 in the tie breaker. North East United FC prove themselves superior when they won the North Eastern Derby by defeating Shillong Lajong FC by a margin of 3-0 in the semifinal. This will be North East United FC first ever appearance in the final of a major Indian competition.
