INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE - 2022-23 LIVE SCORE

Jamshedpur FC finished their season on a high and dealt a potentially fatal blow to Odisha FC’s playoff ambitions after a dominant 2-0 win in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) at the Kalinga Stadium on Wednesday. Goals from Harry Sawyer and Ritwik Das handed the Red Miners their third win in four games and kept FC Goa alive in the playoff pursuit this season. Odisha FC came into the game needing just a point to seal qualification, but will now have to count on FC Goa to not win against Bengaluru FC on Thursday.

The opening twenty minutes were a cagey affair, as the ball stayed in the middle of the park for most of that period. Approaching the half-hour-mark, Sawyer had a couple of opportunities that came his way but neither manifested in a goal that broke the deadlock. At the other end of the pitch, Diego Mauricio cut in from the left flank and glided past three players before shooting straight at the keeper to register the host’s first effort on target in the 34th minute.

Five minutes from the break, Jay Thomas used quick feet to get a strike at goal from inside the box, but Amrinder Singh stood his ground and blocked the on-target shot. At the end of the first half, Jamshedpur FC had more attempts on goal despite Odisha FC keeping more of the ball.

Odisha FC’s playoff hopes were left hanging in the balance just past the hour-mark when they conceded two goals in quick succession to Sawyer and Das. The first goal came after a defensive error from Narender Gahlot allowed the visitors to link up for a goal that was headed in by Sawyer. Seconds later, on a quick break, Das slotted the second past Amrinder.

In the 70th minute, Das outmuscled Shubham Sarangi and tried to lob the keeper but Amrinder tracked back and managed to palm it over the bar. The winger kept trying to find a gap in the Odisha FC back line as the frustrated Juggernauts found themselves at the wrong end of the pitch.

Approaching the 80th minute, Mauricio got past a couple of defenders and went for goal from a tight angle. The striker’s shot was blocked out for a corner which resulted in nothing. Moments later, the same move was replicated and, once again, Odisha FC could not find a way past the staunch Jamshedpur FC defence. Even to the very end, it was the visitors who created all the big chances as Odisha FC ended the game with just one shot on target.

Jamshedpur FC gets all three points in the end, but they had to clutch onto the victory right till the dying seconds of the game. The first half belonged to them as they made a strong comeback after going behind. However, Hyderabad FC came out in the second half with intent and got into their groove. They made some good changes and the red card of Eli Sabia helped them as well.

INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE - 2022-23 LIVE SCORE

JFC started to defend more and allowed the home side to put more pressure on them. The pressure paid off when Hyderabad FC got a penalty of their own and converted it to make the last few minutes of the game interesting. They tried their best, but the Jamshedpur FC defense stood strong to keep their one-goal lead intact.

They would think that they should have been playing like this earlier in the tournament. However, they will take this win and they give the away fans something to cheer about. Hyderabad FC have qualified for the play-offs but they will need to change a few things as they need a better performance than this going forward.

The start was good for the home side, HFC, as they were putting pressure on JFC by creating some openings. For some time, the away side was able to defend them, but ultimately conceded to a corner. However, after that, it was all about Jamshedpur FC. It looked like they just needed something to fire them up, and going behind did exactly that.

Ritwik Das scored to tie the game, but they were awarded a penalty for a handball on Bartholomew Ogbeche, which Jay Thomas converted. Soon after that, Hyderabad FC made another mistake at the back, which was punished by Daniel Chukwu. JFC looked like scoring every time they attacked, but Lalbiakhlua Jongte made a couple of brilliant saves to keep them away. They ended the half on a high as well, but Hyderabad FC need to change a few things at the break if they want to get back in the game. Will we see a comeback from HFC? Or will JFC take all three points? Let's find out in the second half.

ATK Mohun Bagan moved up into fourth place but remained just three points clear of sixth in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) after a 0-0 draw against Jamshedpur FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Thursday. The Mariners attempted a total of 26 shots but could not find a way through the Red Miners’ defence.

INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE - 2022-23 LIVE SCORE

The first half saw plenty of opportunities coming ATK Mohun Bagan’s way, but TP Rehenesh was on his toes to keep the deadlock intact at the break. Kiyan Nassiri was lively on the pitch and his pull-back created the first chance of the match, which Carl McHugh could not keep on target.

Hugo Boumous missed the game because of an injury, so Federico Gallego retained his spot and almost created the opening goal for the Mariners when his cross was headed high up by Ricky Lallawmawma before Rehenesh got his body behind Glan Martins’ low shot.

At the other end, closing in on the half-hour mark, a defensive mix-up allowed Daniel Chukwu to have a crack at goal, but the striker opted to pass the ball through to Rafael Crivellaro and saw it get intercepted and booted to safety by Asish Rai.

Moments later, Rehenesh was called back in action, blocking two back-to-back long-range efforts from Dimitri Petratos and Rai. Seconds before the break, substitute Harry Sawyer played a low cross in the box from the left flank and placed it on a plate for Boris Singh. From point-blank range, the winger failed to hit the target.

INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE - 2022-23 LIVE SCORE

Three minutes into the second half, Boris squared the ball into Jay Thomas's path at theedge of the box. The midfielder took it first time and forced a decent save out of Kaith. Minutes later, Thomas unleashed another powerful strike from range, but it went straight at Kaith.

In the 75th minute, Ritwik Das’ marauding run down the left flank looked promising before the duo of Liston Colaco and Brendan Hamill thwarted the winger inside the box. Nine minutes from time, Pratik Chaudhari’s shot from inside the box was kept at bay by the Mariners’ defence.

In the final minute, Jamshedpur FC applied pressure in the final third. The ATKMB defence failed to clear the ball as Thomas pulled the trigger and his shot bobbled off a defender and came to Chukwu right in front of goal. Kaith produced a brave save to deny the Nigerian what was one of the best chances of the game.

That save ultimately kept ATKMB from dropping any more points, but just one win from their last five games has put them in a position where they could get pulled into the battle for fifth and sixth as the season draws to a close. Both sides will face Hyderabad FC in their next fixture - the Mariners will visit the defending champions on February 14, while the Red Miners will also be on the road on February 18.

INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE - 2022-23 LIVE SCORE

Jamshedpur FC registered their third win of the season in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) after beating NorthEast United FC 2-0 at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati on Saturday. Ritwik Das and Daniel Chukwu were on target as the Red Miners went within three points of East Bengal FC on the league table. The Highlanders became the first team in the Hero ISL to concede more than 44 goals in a single season.

Vincenzo Annese made three changes to his lineup with Mashoor Shereef, Mohamed Irshad and Parthib Gogoi coming in to replace Gaurav Bora, Jithin MS and Emil Benny. Aidy Boothroyd made only a solitary change as Rafael Crivellaro returned to the starting XI and Harry Sawyer dropped to the bench.

Inside the opening ten minutes, Jamshedpur FC were on the front foot. Arindam Bhattacharja parried Boris Singh’s shot from an acute angle before Jay Thomas’ powerful strike from outside the box rattled the upright. Midway through the half, NorthEast United FC finally entered the opposition’s box with Romain Philippoteaux. The attacker’s attempt lacked power, as TP Rehenesh got his body behind it easily.

Jamshedpur FC knocked on the door throughout the first half and six minutes from the break, they were rewarded. Chukwu whipped a low ball into a crowded penalty area from close range before Das tapped it into an empty net.

Jamshedpur FC doubled their advantage in the 57th minute after Crivellaro played a through ball for Chukwu to nestle into the far post. The Nigerian was involved in a clever move with Boris moments later. The Red Miners came tantalisingly close to adding a third goal, but Boris’ shot came off the bar.

At the other end of the pitch, seven minutes past the hour mark, Parthib cut into the box from the right flank and tried to curl one into the far post, but Rehenesh was at full stretch to deny him. Minutes later, substitute Jithin pulled the ball back into the path of Alex Saji inside the box, but the right-back fired it high. NorthEast United FC trod forward in the final ten minutes but were let down by poor finishing.

INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE - 2022-23 LIVE SCORE

Mumbai City FC extended their unbeaten streak in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) to a record-breaking 16 games after an extraordinary comeback victory over Jamshedpur FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur on Friday. Boris Singh had put the hosts in front in the 63rd minute before Lallianzuala Chhangte and Vikram Singh turned the game on its head in the final ten minutes to seal a 2-1 victory for the visitors. The win extended the Islanders' lead at the top of the table to seven points.

At the midway point of the first half, Jamshedpur FC had seven attempts compared to Mumbai City FC’s two. However, only one out of all efforts was on target, and that came in the 15th minute when Ritwik Das took on Stalin and made his way inwards before forcing a save out of Phurba Lachenpa at the near post.

In the 42nd minute, Daniel Chuwku headed the ball into the back of the net from a corner, but the referee blew his whistle for a foul in the crowded penalty area as the deadlock remained intact at the break with Mumbai City FC failing to get a single shot on target in the first half for only the second time this season.

Around the hour-mark, a series of Jamshedpur FC attacks wreaked havoc in the Mumbai City FC penalty area. Ritwik’s effort was cleared off the line by Ahmed Jahouh, but eventually, the hard work paid off for the Red Miners as Boris broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute. Ritwik played a sublime through pass to the winger, who beat Mehtab in the box before beating Lachenpa from a tight angle at the near post as the hosts took a well-deserved lead.

Ten minutes from time, parity was restored via Chhangte. Bipin Singh whipped in a low cross from the left flank straight into the path of Chhangte, who slotted it in from close range. The comeback was complete in the 86th minute when Vikram Singh’s cross from the right flank flew over Rehnesh’s outstretched arm and into the goal, giving the Islanders their 11th consecutive win in the Hero ISL, and also taking them past the league stage record of 46 goals previously held by FC Goa.

Bengaluru FC registered a third consecutive win in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) and inched closer to the final playoff spot after beating Jamshedpur FC 3-0 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur on Wednesday. The win puts them in seventh place, three points ahead of Chennaiyin FC and just one behind FC Goa.

Rohit Kumar scored for the second game running and broke the deadlock inside ten minutes before Roy Krishna’s stunner doubled the Blues’ advantage in the 34th minute. The third and final goal of the match came just after the hour-mark when Siva Narayanan unleashed a left-footed drive from the edge of the box after drifting in from the right flank.

INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE - 2022-23 LIVE SCORE

The game got off to a bright start, with both sides treading into opposition territory and testing waters regularly. Prabir Das pounced on Krishna’s through pass down the right flank before whipping a cross towards the far post, where Rohit’s side-footed volley put Bengaluru FC in front in the eighth minute.

The Blues had to endure Jamshedpur FC's pressure after pressing ahead. The hosts held on to the ball and probed, winning four corners in six minutes at one point. The Bengaluru FC defence was tested by Eli Sabia, Harry Sawyer and Daniel Chukwu, particularly in the air, but managed to hold on throughout a game in which Jamshedpur FC weren’t devoid of chances.

In all, Jamshedpur FC kept the ball more and made a staggering 25 attempts on goal, but managed to get only four of those on target. At the other end, Bengaluru FC showed the importance of being clinical and established a two-goal cushion just after the half-hour mark, when Krishna fired a shot from 30 yards out and caught the hosts off guard.

In the second half. Ricky Lallawmawma whipped in a pin-point cross to Sawyer, who was unmarked at the far post. The Australian headed the ball into the ground before it bounced over the bar. A little over ten minutes later, Narayanan drove the final nail in the coffin with a sublime left-footed strike.

The combination of Sandesh Jhinghan and Alan Costa at the back of Bengaluru FC’s defence constantly thwarted the physical and aerial threats that were hurled at them by the Jamshedpur FC attackers, and ultimately took the Blues to their fourth clean sheet of the season.

Bengaluru FC are just a point away from sixth place, but have played one game more than FC Goa and two more than Chennaiyin FC, who are their two immediate rivals in the playoff race. The Marina Machans will be their next opponent on January 28.

FINAL SCORE: EAST BENGAL FC 1-2 JAMSHEDPUR FC
SECOND HALF : A winning goal by Ritwik Das in the 84th minute sealed the faith of the match in favour of Jamshedpur FC. The visitors came back in the match strongly in the second session equalised at the 60th minute of the match. Harry Sawyer who came in place of Daniel Cheema scored, after a ball defected of Lalchungnunga. Jamshedpur FC could have scored more but a goal line save by Jerry and a brand of good goalkeeping by Suvam Sen restricted them to score.
Cleiton Silva was a bit unlucky when his push was saved from the goal line by Ricky even after the Brazilan got the past Vishal reacting to a pass from Lima. East Bengal FC failed to capitalise the situation after an early lead in the match

FIRST HALF: East Bengal FC are leading by a goal at the end of the first 45 minutes of play. A powerful shot by Mahesh Singh from the left defected of Vishal Jadhav, the Jamshedpur goalkeeper. Cleiton Silva who was playing his 50th match in Indian Super League utilise the situation and scored his ninth goal of the competition at the 12th minute of the match.

INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE - 2022-23 LIVE SCORE

Apart from the early goal scored by the home team, Jamshedpur FC created pressure in the deep defense of East Bengal lead by Daniel Cheema and Ritwik Das but the central defenders of Red and Gold looked quite confident in the first session. The best chance of the match was wasted by Borris Singh who shoots wide of a pass from Ritwik with only Suvam Sen to beat.

An interesting second session coming up as both the teams require points in order to consolidate their position in the League table.

Chennaiyin FC went 2-0 down before staging a second-half comeback against Jamshedpur FC to seal a 2-2 draw at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Saturday. In a game where a win would have put them one point off the final playoff spot, Chennaiyin FC were kept at bay by the home side despite dominating possession and creating more chances, and had to ultimately settle for a point.

Jamshedpur FC took the lead in the 17th minute thanks to a finely worked team goal. Rafael Crivellaro played a give-and-go with Daniel Chukwu before threading a fine through ball onto the path of Ritwik Das, whose shot crawled past Samik Mitra.

The second came right at the stroke of the half-time whistle. This time, Sangwan was at the end of the corner. He couldn’t get the proper connection, and his glancing header hit the post. Edwin Vanspaul also had a busy half. He worked with Vishal Yadav twice, which included an excellent volleyed effort in the 26th minute. Yadav was alert to both efforts and positioned himself well to deny the Chennaiyin FC midfielder.

INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE - 2022-23 LIVE SCORE

Das got his second of the night in the 57th minute with a brilliant individual effort. Once again, the goal came against the run of play. Das received the ball on the left wing, went on the outside before cutting back in, and curled the ball into the top corner. There was a clinical edge to Jamshedpur FC’s performance.

Vincy Barretto, who had looked quite lively all game, got one back for Chennaiyin FC in the 60th minute with a calmly placed bottom-corner finish. It wasn’t the cleanest of sequences – there was a deflection and ricochet in the lead-up to the goal before the ball found its way to Barretto.

Chennaiyin FC levelled the scores in the 68th minute. Aakash Sangwan played a great cross from the left wing once again, and Petar Sliskovic got ahead of his man to slot the ball home with a deflected effort. There was no grand finish, however. Both sides had a few half chances before the final whistle was blown but had to ultimately settle for a 2-2 draw.

Kerala Blasters FC win here and bag all three points. They have also extended their unbeaten streak to eight games and have moved up to third place on the table. It was quite comfortable in the end, and the home crowd will be delighted with their performance. The first half was full of drama, with KBFC taking the lead through Apostolos Giannou and then being pegged back by Daniel Chukwu.

However, their pressure paid off when they were awarded a penalty, which was perfectly taken by Dimitrios Diamantakos to give them the lead going into the break. At the start of the second half, Jamshedpur FC started well, but Ishan Pandita fluffed his lines a couple of times, or else the story could have been different.

INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE - 2022-23 LIVE SCORE

KBFC took advantage of it and put their authority on the field, and soon after, they made it 3-1 when Adrian Luna finished off a brilliant team move. They did not go all defensive after that and continued to try to score goals, which provided JFC with a few opportunities. However, the visitors were not up to par in the final third and KBFC put on a good defensive display.

With this defeat, Jamshedpur FC have gone winless in their last nine games, and they will need to turn their fortunes quickly if they are to get their season back on track.

Despite an enthralling final few minutes, it ends 2-2 tonight between JFC and FCG. Playing in front of their home crowd, JFC came out with a clear game plan and showed some positive signs straightaway. They began the game on the front foot with plenty of early chances but failed to make it count. JFC eventually opened the scoring when Iker Vallejo’s found the back of his own net. However, Iker Vallejo redeemed himself and scored to draw FCG level with JFC.

Post the resumption, it was JFC that took the lead once again when Ishan Pandita pounced on an error by the FCG keeper and rolled the ball in the goal. It was end-to-end stuff post that goal but neither side managed to find the back of the net. With just a minute plus added time remaining in the game, JFC were on course to register their second win of the season. However, Iker Vallejo had other plans and got on the scoresheet yet again to make it 2-2. FCG did threaten to find the winner towards the end but were denied by the JFC defense.

So, JFC and FCG collect a point each from tonight’s fixture. JFC will be gutted with this result and now shift focus to their next game against Kerala Blasters FC.

INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE - 2022-23 LIVE SCORE

A fifth-minute Danish Farooq strike was enough to hand Bengaluru FC three vital points against Jamshedpur FC in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday. Opportunities came at both ends of the pitch as the Blues rattled the woodwork on a couple of occasions while the Red Miners couldn’t find success in the Bengaluru FC box.

The home crowd didn’t have to wait long for the first goal as Bengaluru FC got their noses in front five minutes into the game. Roy Krishna sprinted down the right flank before curling an early ball towards Farooq. The midfielder took a touch before dispatching it past the keeper at the near post from the edge of the box.

Five minutes after the opener, Krishna darted into the box and aimed for the far post with a low shot. However, the Fijian’s effort was deflected behind for a corner that led to nothing. In the 19th minute, Jay Thomas’ throw-in from the right flank found its way through to Ishan Pandita, whose sliced volley was pushed onto the upright by Gurpreet Singh Sandhu.

Minutes into the second half, Hernandez had a couple of opportunities. In the first one, his shot from the edge of the box lacked power and was saved by Yadav. Moments later, the Spaniard fired another attempt from a similar position, and on that occasion, only managed to find the post.

Five minutes past the hour-mark, Pandita was presented with two decent chances inside the box. Jitendra Singh whipped a promising ball in from the right flank. It was headed into the path of Pandita by substitute Daniel Chukwu before the striker fired it wide.

Harry Sawyer then went past Shrivas and played the ball into the box, where Pandita was completely unmarked. However, the 24-year-old’s attempt did not make the desired contact with the ball, summarising the evening for the Red Miners.

Dimitrios Diamantakos struck for the fourth time in as many games to give Kerala Blasters a narrow 1-0 win over Jamshedpur FC in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur on Sunday. The Red Miners will feel they could have been better as the Blasters nabbed four Hero ISL wins on the trot for the first time in their history.

The game got off to a cagey start, but Blasters eventually took the lead in the 16th minute. From a free kick, Adrian Luna lobbed the ball towards Diamantakos at the far post. Poor defending from Jamshedpur FC allowed the unmarked Greek striker to get on the end of it and carefully side-footed the ball home from close range.

In the 72nd minute, Pandita was taken out by a smart tackle from Sandeep Singh right on the edge of the box. The full-back was only shown a yellow card before Thomas stood over the free kick and fired it into the stands, summing up Jamshedpur’s evening.

Chennaiyin FC earned their first victory at home this season with a 3-1 win over Jamshedpur FC in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai, today. Petar Sliskovic broke the deadlock in the first half before Ishan Pandita equalised in the final quarter. Substitutes Vincy Baretto and Abdenasser El Khayati struck late for the Marina Machans as Jamshedpur notched up three consecutive losses for the first time since the 2020-21 season.

Daniel Chukwu, Laldinpuia Pachuau, and Laldinliana Renthlei were all out injured for Jamshedpur, while Harry Sawyer dropped to the bench. Farukh Choudhary, Wellington Priori, Muhammed Uvais, and Pandita were all drafted into the starting lineup. The injury-riddled Red Miners were dealt another injury blow in the 16th minute when Priori was stretchered off.

To make things worse, Jamshedpur went behind in the 27th minute. Julius Duker played a through ball to Dhas, who galloped forward in acres of space before getting his shot away. The midfielder’s attempt was parried by the keeper straight to Sliskovic, who stayed alert and headed the ball home from close range.

The game burst into life in the final quarter of the match. In the 76th minute, Sawyer flicked the ball on with his head towards the box as Pandita met it with a well-struck volley to level the score. The lead did not last long as Chennaiyin substitutes - El Khayati and Baretto - combined in the very next minute to put the Marina Machans ahead again.

El Khayati whipped in a cross from the left flank and Baretto took it on the volley with his first touch of the match. There was enough time for El Khayati to bag a goal for himself - the Dutch midfielder sold a dummy to Peter Hartley before slotting the ball in at the near post five minutes from time to wrap up the win.

INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE - 2022-23 LIVE SCORE

Towards the end of the first half, Sawyer entered the box and faced the goal from an acute angle. The striker opted to shoot rather than pass and saw his effort fly high. The game’s complexion changed early in the second half as Hyderabad FC drew first blood. Halicharan Narzary’s low cross aimed at Ogbeche was intercepted by Peter Hartley. However, the ball eventually landed in front of an unmarked Yasir, who squeezed the ball in at the near post in the 48th minute.

Approaching the final quarter of the game, the hosts finally tested substitute keeper Anuj Kumar. Boris Singh found Sawyer with a low cross inside the box. Sawyer had his back towards goal as he rolled it back towards Hartley, whose shot was low and hard, but unable to beat Anuj.

Seven minutes from regulation time, Odei Onaindia headed the ball back towards Anuj. Under pressure from Ishan Pandita, Anuj fumbled and ended up handling the ball outside the box. The shot-stopper only saw a yellow card for the offence and Jamshedpur FC failed to get anything from the resulting free kick.

INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE - 2022-23 LIVE SCORE

FC Goa’s first game at home this season was a joyous one as they defeated Jamshedpur FC 3-0 in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa. Iker Guarrotxena and Noah Wail Sadaoui scored inside the first 15 minutes, and Brison Fernandes scored in the 93rd minute to give FC Goa a win on their return home.

FC Goa were off to a flyer as Guarrotxena scored after just two minutes. Brandon Fernandes played a short corner to Edu Bedia on the right flank. The Spaniard whipped a cross in as the ball missed a cheeky flick from Redeem Tlang before finding Guarrotxena, whose decisive tap-in put the Gaurs ahead.

Ten minutes into the game, the hosts were dealt a blow after Arnaout was stretchered off and replaced by midfielder Glan Martins. Head coach Carlos Pena did not tweak the formation as Martins slotted in as a centre-back.

INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE - 2022-23 LIVE SCORE

Before the Red Miners could capitalise on this opportunity, the Gaurs established a two-goal cushion just two minutes after the substitution. Brandon found Noah Wail Sadaoui with a sublime defence-splitting pass from midfield. The striker kept his left-footed strike low and hard to double FC Goa’s advantage.

Towards the end of the first half, Wellington Priori dodged his marker and unleashed a shot at goal. Dheeraj matched it with a decent save. At the other end, Sadoui continued to be a menace for the Jamshedpur FC defence. In first-half stoppage time, Sadoui crossed the ball in from the left flank before Tiang’s header was tipped over the bar by Rehenesh.

In the second half, Jamshedpur FC head coach Aidy Boothroyd reverted to a 4-4-2 as he took Sabia and Jitendra off and brought Sawyer and Pratik on. Ten minutes in, striker Jay Thomas replaced midfielder Priori in an effort to add more attacking impetus to the team. However, the Gaurs were able to keep all attackers at bay.

FC Goa gave their fans another reason to celebrate with a third goal in second-half stoppage time. Substitutes combined as Saviour Gama played a low ball towards Brison. Only five minutes after coming on, Brison controlled the ball at his feet before smashing it past Rehenesh in the 93rd minute.

Mumbai City FC dominated possession but were held to a 1-1 draw by Jamshedpur FC in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) at the Mumbai Football Arena in Mumbai. Lallianzuala Chhangte put the hosts in front after eight minutes before Daniel Chukwu leveled the score four minutes later. Jamshedpur’s star player from last season, Greg Stewart, was threatening in attack and made the assist for Mumbai’s goal, but was neutralized by his former club for the rest of the game.

Eight minutes into the game, the deadlock was broken. Stewart played in a low ball across the face of goal as Chhangte darted towards it to bury it. Four minutes later, parity was restored. Priori’s long throw from the right was flicked on by Sawyer before Chukwu rose highest to head the ball into the top-right corner.

Approaching the half-hour mark, the Islanders were dominating possession. Complacency in midfield allowed Priori to knick the ball off Stewart and feed it through to Boris Singh. Boris’ effort lacked power and was collected comfortably by the keeper. Moments later, Boris failed to control Chukwu’s cross from the left as the Red Miners squandered another chance.

INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE - 2022-23 LIVE SCORE

The hosts piled the pressure on Jamshedpur FC as the game touched the hour mark. The Red Miners’ defence was able to keep their shape and kept the Mumbai City FC attackers at bay. In the 63rd minute, substitute Vikram Singh’s looping effort bounced off the bar. Minutes later, TP Rehenesh was quick to deny Stewart’s effort from a freekick.

In the final quarter of the game, Mumbai City FC did not take their foot off the pedal and continued to press Jamshedpur FC into their own half. The visitors dealt with the pressure well and relied on rare counters to move forward. Opportunities fell to both sides in the dying moments of the game, but neither side capitalised on them as the game ended in a stalemate.

MATCH DEYLAYED DUE TO HEAVY RAIN AND WATER LOGGING CONDITION IN THE GROUND.

Odisha FC scored two late goals to seal a 3-2 win over last year's Hero Indian Super League (ISL) league winners Jamshedpur FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur. Daniel Chukwu and Boris Singh gave the hosts a two-goal advantage inside the opening ten minutes of the game. Diego Mauricio then bagged a brace, including the winner, and substitute Isaac Chhakchhuak got on the scoresheet to nab all three points for the Juggernauts.

Torrential rain delayed kick-off but didn't dampen Jamshedpur FC's spirits as they got their noses in front after just three minutes. Ricky Lallawmawma’s low cross from the left flank was blocked by Thoiba Singh but the rebound fell to Daniel Chukwu before the Nigerian smashed the ball into the net with his left foot.

The Juggernauts reduced the deficit seven minutes later. Raynier Fernandes rolled the ball towards Diego Mauricio near the edge of the box.
